What songs/albums/etc. evoke this kind of vibe - endless, run-down and mundane as the supernatural, ideally creepy?

im interested in this idea

modern horror is millennials being "scared" at well kept places (see the matrix), they want some n*****er scribbled "urban" walls, that makes them feel safer.

Probably Selected Ambient Works II for me. Most of the tracks are really haunting

Dead mall aesthetic isn't explored enough. Surprised at the backlash in the thread, I love this shit.

This album is fucking terrifying.

I love places like this and I wish I could find more of them in real life. Modern office spaces are too bright, with bright white interiors and glass walls. I don't like that clean sterile sillicon valley look. This image reminds me of the days when my dad would take me to work with him at Compaq in the mid 90s.

What's this aesthetic called?

80s/90s office space. They smell like coffee, cigarettes, and old computers.

Unironically the Caretaker's An Empty Bliss Beyond This World, and Everywhere at the End of Time.

Paratopic OST
The game is literally about “in-between” places, hence the name.

Getting warmer
That's the thing. It's not really about the computers, coffee and cigarettes. It's more about the incredibly sterile environment that in this case seems infinite. Reminds of the Cube movies or something.

I-I don't like this...

I believe a house of leaves concept album exists and is pretty good

This may be a bit more vaporwave than people want, but this is the kind of stuff op makes me think of

Thanks bros. Gonna check these out. Started Everywhere at the End of Time and it seems promising.

Spot on. It really intrigues me as an aesthetic because I spent a lot of time in spaces like these as a kid, and they're a major motif in most of my recurring dreams.

jandek - ready for the house
