There's some cool stuff in this track. I think if you fleshed the sections out a little more maybe changed up a few of the sounds for something a little more modern it would really hit hard. Also I think is almost more of an IDM sounding thing than indie rock.
Here's mine. Got an album coming out soon More ambient and drone-post rock than this though.
Really retro vibes. That transition into the main section is great and unexpected. Great blend of stuff
There's some really nice wonk in the drums. :39 I really like the synth that kicks in. I think i'd like the tune more without the stop in the middle. Feels a bit unnecessary
You gotta mix your vocals in better. Add some reverb and cut some of the low end. Also add a compressor at the beginning of your chain. Trust me, I'll sound 100x better.
Hey man. This is the music I've always wanted to make but I could never get the subtle aspect of it right. Do you have any album recs for this kind of music? Also what are you using to stretch the samples to make them sound like they're disintegrating? Really digging the track man, I'll give you a follow.
>Do you have any album recs for this kind of music?
This specific direction is definable as ''acousmatic'' with a heavy influence from musique concrète and raw glitch. (except the last part of the track which is generally IDM). Check out french composers like Bernard Parmegiani and Francois Bayle if you want to get familiar with this kind of music.
>Also what are you using to stretch the samples to make them sound like they're disintegrating?
It's not stretching, it's granular synthesis or granular processing in which a sound is torn apart in minuscule pieces (grains).
Gavin Adams
Thanks for the info. I'll look into granular synthesis
Props for the vocals. I'd through some delay on them, maybe a bit of reverb
oooooo dancey
There's some cool stuff happening here. I really like the guitar at the end. Vocals are a bit pitchy. I'd melodyne them personally. There's enough of a synthy vibe in the song already, I think vocal correction would lend itself well to the tune
glitchy for sure
I really dig this, beats are great. A bit of muddiness in the low end at times however.
I like this. Interesting enough while not trying to be more than what it is
This feels more grunge than math rock, but the hell do I know? I dig it none the less. Especially the ending
Well mixed/produced
This is interesting and different from most of what is posted here. Are you the singer?
haha I like this, but it kinda reminds me of something someone said to me once. "If I wanted to listen to distorted chainsaws, I'd go outside and cut my head off." Beat's good though, keep it up!
lol this is goofy fun
This Hurts is probs my fav
more plz. I like the taste of your trap
Would like to see this live for sure!
This is some unique stuff, but I'd hardly call it pop. Maybe lofi industrial jazz?
Top notch
Really like what youre doing with the vocals, and the bass. the orchestral samples are so subtle but add that extra level to it.
>soundcloud.com/shortysix wauwwwwwww sampling game en pointe my dude! loving that glass house track! super relaxing, super clean sampling! nice work dude! sounds a lil bit like kanye
Is it weird that the vocals on this make me think of some MySpace core like Medic Droid or Jeffree Star? Not in a bad way. It's silly dumb fun and honestly very well produced
DUDE THIS IS WAHT IM GOING FOR. just like, a quality version! :))) im so glad thats what my music makes you think of because i am exactly that kind of emo fuccboi lol
