"You Won't Get What You Want" by the Rhode Island-based noise rock (formerly mathcore) Daughters. It's pretty frickin' abrasive, all my friends I've shown it to seem genuinely terrified or disturbed by it and often refer to it as "eerie" or "scary"

Have you heard Second Annual Report or DoA yet? All are great but 20JFG is probably the least disturbing.

the people you're trying to make fun of are like .3% of people who talk about that album.

Is there a better misleading album cover then this

black to comm - seven horses for seven kings

guys u know when u wiper ur ass with soap and it mixes with the smell odnpopp that what I smell likeb

new xiu xiu is pretty eerie and unsettling

fucking tourist, compared to their other albums this shit is borderline industrial synth pop

I wanted to like them but I didn't like this nor their improvisational stuff. ;(

Their first two are much more disturbing. jazz funk hits sounds like synth-pop in comparison.

I bet reddit still thinks it’s scary

DoA is way creepier
I couldn't sleep for a while after I first heard Hamburger Lady

>lol get it cuz its like not jazz funk its lol xd spooky moosic hahaha got em!!!!!!!!

This album makes me feel like I'm going insane, especially Parhelic Triangle

also there is 10 songs
imagine an elderly man purchasing this and listening to it

why don't you go back and find out

nice pick

Not that disturbing but to christian mom's and hipsters... It is

reading along with the lyrics helps make it disturbing, and that sample of the children at the playground in Necropedophile adds a lot.

apparently she's a meme here now, but Waking the Witch off of Hounds of Love scared the shit out of me the first time I heard it.

>Track 2

find out where that photo was taken, dipshit.

Give me a goddamn fucking break.
There isn't anything disturbing or "scary" about 20 Jazz Funk Greats, or anything from Throbbing Gristle.
You kids are such tryhards.

>There isn't anything disturbing or "scary" about 20 Jazz Funk Greats
sure
>or anything from Throbbing Gristle
pfft okay, show us what you consider disturbing then

he probably listens to Pete Sotos in the bath.

John Duncan - Pleasure Escape

dude fucking a corpse

user, that's not real, he didn't actually fuck a corpse...

>Falling for the meme

Literally everything else they did in their classical era was worse than that. I haven't looked too far into it, but my personal theory is that they themselves suppressed (didn't release) The First Annual Report at the time, because they correctly intuited that if they had done so (less than 15 years removed from fresh public memory of the Moors Murders), then they would have become immediate targets of violence, more than they'd even bargained for. The Peter Sotos-clip on second annual report is worse, Hamburger Lady is worse. They're still being plenty creepy here of course (Convincing People/Persuasion/the dang album cover which feeds into John Balance's "White Cliffs of Dover" lyric on Horse Rotorvator)

I release this copypasta into the public domain. Recycle it for whatever reason you wish.

i pity you

Of course it's scary. It's the most accurate depiction of what the inside of the mind of a deviant homosexual cross-dresser sounds like.

Honestly music itself cannot be truly disturbing or scary because it's just sound.
If you want something that reeks of mental illness and depravity then check out Atrax Morgue.

I actually really love this album, or tape, or whatever you wanna call it. There's so much early unreleased NMH stuff that needs to be unearthed.

Oh bro this is so creepy man I'm shivering

youtube.com/watch?v=lRzlVU2jREI

Tell me, what is your age and how much Industrial music have you listened to.

Current 93 and Ligotti's Special Plan and the Bungalow Tapes is unnerving.

Attached: Invent_Yourself_A_Shortcake.jpg (500x500, 42K)

its not "creepy", its morose, its unsettling, its bleak, its industrial music for industrial people. it speaks to the greatest and most sublime horror of all, the inhumanity and the absurdity of modern life.

>Honestly music itself cannot be truly disturbing or scary because it's just sound.
>If you want something that reeks of mental illness and depravity then check out Atrax Morgue.
so are you saying this is scary or not because this is still just sound

I guess we can all agree metal is not scary

youtu.be/xac-S_ViUy0?t=2858

"Got a pointed stick"
"Stuck in my brain"
"Feels so good"
"Gives me so much pain"

Scary, no.
Disturbing, yes.

based
and coilpilled

op my gf literally enjoyed this album so much she downloaded it on her spotify account

Yes, because of its frontal assault, which is easily dismissed-we see it coming.

current 93's debut is more disturbing, and of better quality. i don't know why people rate I have a special plan so high

This isn't scary, it sounds like someone playing the Deus Ex soundtrack near a construction yard.

this is about spooky music, not quality, user.

dogs blood rising is spoopier

youtube.com/watch?v=-pDhCRfh43o

birth canal blues is spoopiest

The paper chase

This shit blew my mind when I first heard it; constructed as perfect pop but entirely fucking dissonant and lyrically terrifying. Though their best album is

And for the edgy crowd, try to listen to this as per the instructions

When I tried, it made me feel pretty empty, didn't really feel good until a few days later. It was interesting to confront mortality in that way though.

u guys this wins he fucked a cataver

youtube.com/watch?v=zv8NKaabRpI

Corpse fucking is normie tier shit.
How about percussion made from human bones?

Hot on the Heels of Love slaps tho

i love parhelic triangle !!

except you don't know that he did and it doesn't sound disturbing at all.
>percussion made from human bones
Literally been done for hundreds of thousands of years, get a new angle bro.

this is the correct answer

unironically hello kitty suicide club

The photograph is at Beachy Head - the number one suicide spot in the United Kingdom.
On the back cover, they have a Reliant Robin. The Reliant Robin was market under the slogan of "The ultimate vacation".
It's hilarious.
Currently spinning "Tsixe Ot Esaec Retfa" btw

this lol, doa is much 'scarier'

Excuse me, but what album?

>Once you figure out that our obscure cover art location is hyped up as a suicide spot by retards and that the car on the back cover is statistically more dangerous than other cars you're going to feel SO provoked! Mom's gonna freak over our mildly aggressive synthpop disguised as jazz!
Legit question, are the members of this band autistic?

Can't believe nobody has posted the GOAT.

In terms of ambient this one of the most terrying songs ever written.

Or anything by Whitehouse

Gavin Friday. Each Man Kills.

Gav and the Virgin Prunes, yeah.
Great stuff indeed.

>Whitehouse
no not really, they're a party band, if you ever went to their concerts you'd know, Hawaiian shirts, gurning, stripping and dry-humping onstage. All in all a good act though.

Whitehouse live unironically looks fun as shit
youtube.com/watch?v=TYYQ6kSBpd0

that's what I mean, I've been and went.

More like uncomfortable as shit
I can't stand their whole ironic bullshit

Birth Canal Blues
