I hope everyone is working on their best of the decade list. Do you know your number one?
I hope everyone is working on their best of the decade list. Do you know your number one?
Sure do
Music hasn't been good since 2006.
yup
i don't think i've listened to more than 10 albums released this decade
there's too much great music in the past to bother with modern stuff
this exactly
feels bad being underwhelmed by everything for the past 9 fucking years but it's one of my favorite albums ever so it balances out ok
aotd by a landslide
this
I'm attempting to do a top 50, this is pretty tough.
Stop shilling your trash
Don't @ me
greatest rap project of this decade hands down
It's pretty hard to make a decade end list, i only really started listening intensively to music after 2015, keeping track of releases and deeping a little digger in the music piles.
This makes everything I listened too before 2015 more prone to bias because I discovered year end lists and such
Blackstar
This is my top 10 so far, but I still got a lot of catching up to do
It's time for you to go back
Don't even care that I'm gonna get shit for this.
Good picks
Fun as fuck to listen to, but I don't know about AOTD-tier.
either of the Daughters albums desu
finally rich and tha tour definitely belongs on there. chief keef and young thug laid the blueprint for rap for a lot of the newcomers. you could probably put barter 6 instead of tha tour but im very nostalgic about that project, dear to my heart. highly influential projects
You seriously think that Tame Impala album was the best the 10's had to offer?
tame impala is babbys first psych rock
Animal by Kesha.
That's fair. Keef is undeniably influential and I honestly think The Tour is the best thing Thug has had his name on.
Unironically yes.
I've listened to plenty of psych new and old. Lonerism is a top 5 psych record. I'd also call it more pop than rock.
plus that RHQ chemistry off the fucking hook. too bad they couldn't work out their differences. best rapper collabs of the 10s
I've known for awhile, it's Depression Cherry.
Unknown Death 2002 + Eccojams + Exmilitary + Finally Rich defined the terrible hip hop we've got to hear now.
Glad I'm not the only one that s holds this in such high regard.
>shilling
>wahh you can't like things you must be shilling it
This or 22 a million, though the new big thief could edge them both out desu
Imagine being this kind of person
explain
forgot image
No he’s right, shill or no shill you should shut up
Lol my sentiments exactly
The shoehorned awful rapping ruins it
He's wrong because I'm not shilling. The point you are making, that I should shut up, is completely different.
Honestly its really easy. Its Syro
bretty much
\m/ bruther
Undertale OST - Toby Fox
In the top 5 for sure
This, or one of the past 2 Amen Dunes albums. Also the Slowdive album and Depression Cherry would round out my top 5
Happened in the first year of the decade
Love was great the other one was shit
imagine being white and hating your race this much.
Yeah
Freedom is amazing too. It’s a grower but possibly better than Love imo. The lyrics are obviously more abstract and the backing band on the record is also amazing. Chris Coady is the best producer in the game, and with his work on Freedom it shows. The “Vibe” is more tortured and restricted on Freedom than it is on Love, but it’s done intentionally to create a general feeling of suffering.
Why don’t you like it?
based
Just one more day
Based and redpilled
pic related for me
all of these are good choices, too
