Julien remains the best song of the album.
As good as E•MO•TION, not as good as Side B. It sounds like she cut some absolute bangers from Dedicated too, so I expect we'll get a Side B for it too next year.
She posted a great chorus on her Instagram last year and it was nowhere on the album, not even rejigged like Store or Tiny Little Bows were.

Yeah what I appreciate is that all the songs don't sound like bandwagon pop songs. This probably means there is a lot to explore for me and we will just have to see how much this album decides to grow.
Honestly, the first time I heard Emotion all the songs sounded the same too. It can be weird to listen to pop songs without bandwagoning hooks. I think my ears have been trained by so much pop to pay attention to those hooks in normal pop songs.
