What's the most "vaporwave" album? If that makes sense. If you had to show someone the genre, what album represents vaporwave the best.

Honestly, i would just pull up one of the volumes frim midwest collective. The guys have a bunch of various vaporwave genres and artists.

If i had to pick one specifically, probably Home-odyseey just because of resonance.

Yeah, daniel has no idea what he started. His ego pretty huge.

Its a good start. Not great, but a good start.

It’s an edit for humor retard he didn’t actually listen to vectroid in that interview

I wish Yes! we're open had much prettier cover art, it's a shame, cause the music inside is great

Oh fuck. I remember him saying stupid shit before tho.

Floral Shoppe is a good start. One of the first Vaporwave albums and it's pretty easy to listen to.

>Floral Shoppe
It's so undeniably shit

George Clanton is based

it's also super mediocre

It is obviously not the best Vaporwave album out there. But it is one of the best to start inside the genre. It's easy to listen to and it might be one of the albums that are more on the mainstream side (like 2814).

I can't imagine people that are new to the genre listening to dds, giant claw, internet club, nmesh, etc, unless they're somewhat used to experimental music work

floral shoppe almost prevented me from getting into vaporwave because it's so underwhelming.

No vaporwave albums are hard to listen to (because vaporwave does not include annoying shit such as blank banshee, which is trap) so floral shoppe being "easy to listen to" really isn't a positive.

rec me some futurefunk which does NOT sound like french house

Looking for feedback

I'm the opposite. Macintosh Plus was what got me into Vaporwave.

And I'm not sure what you mean by "no Vaporwave albums are hard to listen to"

I mean what the sentence I wrote means

it's nice
it works
improvement on the source material, but there are awkward cuts here and there, some bits around 7:40 aren't properly synched and the highs are a bit shrill

also the big track could afford being trimmed down

not sure what that big yellow thing is, though

and not sure what the narrative is supposed to be
