here are a few links of some songs i'm working on. ive been putting a lot of focus in my production and a lot less in promotion, but i think its time people start to hear what i can make. i want people to appreciate my art.
Took a step back from writing the new track today, going to re-attack it tomorrow. I'm trying to map lyrics to an old demo I did that was just guitar. Normally how I do my faster lyric writing.
I'm new to this game so just some generic lofi while I get to grips with Logic. Feedback welcome, I'll check out the music in the thread once I get out of work, I think I'm following a few of you posters already.
Groovy and high energy. I listened to a couple tracks. The second one embrace the sound was what caught my ear. That tempo change and transition at the beginning are great.
Always a recc of mine. Check out Going to Vegas or Doom Jazz for a treat.
Is this Bergen, Norway, or does it just look really much like Bergen?
Carson Ward
It's in Edinburgh, zoomed in picture from my apt window. My flatmate recently went to Bergen though funnily enough, just two weeks ago.
Robert Barnes
Similar cities, I guess. Looks beautiful my man. Looks almost identical an area right outside of the city center in Bergen, so I just had to ask.
Brandon Cook
Yea I guess they're fairly similar in terms of climate, not much snow here though. The photos from Bergen looked gorgeous though. Some crazy nice scenery, I need to go sometime
Cool sound design! I like the mix of triplet-feel in the drums and straight synths in the outro and intro, makes it so groovy.
Solid mix, works well even if there's not so much bass. I like the kickdrum/snare fills, maybe could use more of that ? Like some varying hihat patterns or another percussion sound would fit I think. Very enjoyable!
Thanks a lot for checking it! Yea I really want to get more creative with the drums, there's definitely space to chop them more and make things more interesting. I'm starting to get to grips with the software now so I'm going to try to get a bit more technical on the next track, hopefully I'll have something I'm happy with by the weekend.
I've followed your profile, going to check out your tracks once I've finished work in an hour
