I actually do recommend listening to it. I hated scene when it happened, but this is actually a lot of fun. They're actually basically playing chaotic metalcore like Converge, but with 00s MySpace scene kid cliches turned up to ridiculous extremes. And their drummer looks like the kid from the fat emo memes

I don't regret doing anything scene because I was never scene. I graduated high school in 2007 in Colorado, and for some reason everything seems to happen in Colorado 2 years after it happens everywhere else, so scene didn't get popular until after I graduated.

I thought I hated emo because of what was on MTV, though, which prompted me to research where this shitty music came from... which led me to Rites of Spring, who I loved, and then I got into post-hardcore.
