A recent case was brought before the highest court in the United States, and the merits of the case render a decision from the 1970s invalid. The results from that 1970s enumerated power to the federal government to decide the minimum guidelines for abortion.
However, as the case has been overturned, the federal government no longer controls the issue. In concordance with the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution, power over the issue is returned to states to decide.
TL;DR libs are freaking out because control of abortion legislation is no longer centralized, and they are purely in favor of power being centralized to the federal government.

roe v wade was the name of the supreme court case that settled the legal right to abortions like 50 years ago.
newly leaked document from the current supreme court says that they are going to reverse that decision now, but that decision isn't really based on any new information or new legal understanding. It's just that the current justices don't feel like it should be a thing anymore.
One one hand, conservative christians who beleive that abortion is murder are happy because theyve done their duty as good christians to prevent murder, even though this just means that women who want abortions have to do so on their own without a doctor's help (think coat hangers, other dangerous methods).
On the other hand, people who think women should be able to have abortions are mad, and this also makes the court look like they can just do whatever they want without respecting legal precedent - like overruling a court case that was settled half a century ago. They worry if the court can do this, could they overturn other old cases that make up modern rights, like gay marriage and interracial marriage, just because they feel like it?

I was an another thread trying to argue that they only banned abortion because they're planning on going to war with Russia & China and need a replacement population for when they ship us off.
People forget now that you won't be able to dodge the draft by claiming you're transgender or queer, let alone a woman or even a pregnant woman as they've developed flight-deck suits for pregnant women too.
