Honestly, this happened in the Midwest brah...the biggest market for rock music and the most isolated and distant from Disco, which was created by blacks but mainly enjoyed by RICH "hip" whites on the fucking coasts, the Midwest and working class people liked rock and couldn't relate to going to fancy clubs and snorting coke all night to shake your ass in designer pants

Rock artists are not hateful or violent.
In the late 60 and during the 70's we lost our young rock artists to drug over doses and alcohol.
Compared to rap and hip hop where you lose you young artists mostly to rivals inflicting lead poisoning.
