PTR manufactures the receiver + barrel assembly on the C308 ( they probably even supply the trigger housing ). Century receives these components and slaps a lot of old frankensteined together Spanish CETME parts. The C308 is an alright rifle, but the big caveat with them is the aforementioned frankensteining, and the lack of the paddle magazine release.
