Now that the hype is all but over for this show let's talk real here.
Rick and Morty was a God awful show. I hated it when it came out, hated it when it got insanely popular, and I still hate it now.
Not to mention the fact that the quality of the show took a sharp dive after season 2. Does anybody even watch this garbage show anymore?
Haven't watched it but from the clips I sometimes see on youtube it seems pretty good.
Still watch every new season instantly. Have to agree though that the first seasons were definitely better.

They constantly make fun of the divergence of season 4 and 5 in the show. They probably going back to the original feel soon. They pretty much have to.
If someone I know tells me they like Rick and Marty I always think differently of them afterwards
Tbfh I feel the exact same never liked it but didn't really care until I got clips of it shoved into my face, it's the absolute definition of pretentious arrogance and I don't see anything interesting in it at all
I think I watched seasons 1 and 2, it was alright. The fanbase is fucking terrible, but you shouldn't allow fans to determine what you like.
