EVERYBODY POST YOUR SOUNDCLOUDS BELOW! PLEASE PROVIDE FEEDBACK! I'LL BE SURE TO RETURN ANY FEEDBACK I GET
here are a few links of some songs i'm working on. ive been putting a lot of focus in my production and a lot less in promotion, but i think its time people start to hear what i can make. i want people to appreciate my art.
This band is largely conceptual at this point. The idea is to gather people with different ideas about music/art and levels of skill and just see what happens. This whole set was improvised and we switch instruments frequently
dope shit, and just super well done, jus empty, dig it tho >soundcloud.com/joockoo not my cup of tea, but I wish it went more h a m this is really cool man, well fkn done, maybe vocals a bit dry but thas just me, love the syd barrett/bjm influences im hearin
will say this tho, the guitars should be hard panned, it's too thin and the mixing needs some work, this is all really close to being really fkn good, it just needs to sound fuller and denser I feel like, idk like aspire to sound like neutral milk hotel mixing wise and I think you'll find you can create a much more exiting and impactful sound, like i say more distortion/saturation and the low end pokes out too much and isn't compressed properly, u jus gotta write more songs, dig it man
Jaxon Russell
I absolutely adore Syd. BJM?
I'm actually not a fan of Neutral Milk Hotel. I totally feel you on guitar tone. Largely I play without a pick so I don't break strings much. i recorded with strings 2 years old and deeply regret it. It took out a lot of the punch I needed on some of the tracks.
I like the playfulness in the guitar solo and the grit/glitchiness in the synths. It all fits together well. Great laid back attitude. My only complaint is the vocals sound a little low energy for the track IMO
Brown Noise is my experimental and humor inspired project, this is a video we just released that is a 32 min song inpired by Cartoon All-stars, that shitty drug PSA movie from the 80's, please check it out! Alos the beast bleeds blu and life spreds through dew. youtube.com/watch?v=f1Ff_fXwTMs&t=5s here is the bandcamp, the new albums are better, I'd do brownnoise.bandcamp.com/album/give-the-drunks-the-stoners-regards
recc HEAVY REC some nice ambiance in this although I did notice some distortion from the limiter being too high there's a lot of good stuff in this thread
Again.............. You really need to Learn how to boost your bass. I can help you out out quite a bit if you ask, but for now what you need to focus on is Making great bass patches. to make a beginner bass, get a defult patch in Harmor, turn the low-pass on A to 10% and 0% on B, and then turn the Sub up on both A and B, next turn on some slight distortion and then EQ the sub in the mixer up all the way.
Honestly not too funny, I didn't laugh, use for farty production.
My copycat lol
You should practice your beats. that break you do is generic, sorry.
oh so break is popular again? lol Bandwaggon jumpers.

soundcloud.com/dj-dubbi >Post-Dubstep (POST becauz I ended the genre for the world with my song "End of Dubstep" >Trap Bangers >Progressive House >Bass Music
Posted a tuesday bluesday cover of Killin' Floor, just for funsies. Otherwise, working on writing lyrics to an original to record this week. It's not going as quick as most of my other tracks. I think I need to take a step back and re-approach it.
Reccs - love the new track - I can't decide if I like this, but it's really captivating, so I'm tossing it in my reccs, because I can feel the style growing on me. based Twig. Needs guitars mixed a lot higher. I think vocals might need eq, reverb/delay/etc, help to sit in the mix right, but I like it. I do not like the distortion effects on fx-002 version
Dubbi before you say "Take my advice I want you to get famous", I'm going to get in a real studio, in due time, once I've got a drummer on board. I want somebody who's better at drums, learns the songs front to back with me, plays live, and that I can have bounce ideas to me on the tracks to flesh out more dynamics.
