What is your favorite guitar pick?
What is your favorite guitar pick?
jazz iii or bust
this bad boy right here
that one or the black jazz iii
that thing is like legit the size of a Dorito
I didn't know we were allowing putrid cow sludge in here now
This is the pick that gets my devotion
Based
jazz iii xl, the normal ones are too tiny for my taste
I mostly use my fingers
guitar picks are cringe. i dont know how anyone can enjoy how bright they make the guitar.
Based
t. never played a bc rich
>BC Rich is a bastion of guitar-making standards
Yes I’m sure those Slayer riffs you chug on in your room are very meaty user
The black matte jazz III. Literally made me better instantly. Floppy shit like this chaps my ass.
Used to use jazz iii picks exclusively primarily because of the hype, but after experimenting after more than a decade of playing, I have fallen in love with carbon fiber jazz iii XL picks. Regular jazz iiis are nice for sure, but they are way too small for my gigantic hands to be comfortable. I just put up with it because of the increased accuracy they bring, but the carbon fiber XLs solve this issue while still allowing better accuracy over normal picks.
I highly recommend the jazz iii variety pack.
what's the difference in the black material?
Based
found the rhythm players :)
It's grainy and very dry/matte vs a shiny plastic silk feeling on the red ones. I also don't like the gritty cheese grater grip on either side.
a cheap alice stencil by the name of "jendrix"
been using these for couple years dunno if I like it just haven't gotten around getting new picks
these, literally cannot play with another pick
those are really good
I have these or the blue ones to this day
I fingerpick
im vegan
cheapo chinkshit
I bet u sound like shit.
So you don’t use meat picks?
Why are you projecting? I bet you have a tiny, shriveled little cock and an ugly face.
i do but only free range
>why are you projecting?
> I bet you have a tiny, shriveled little cock and an ugly face.
I do have all those things but I play guitar better than u lmao
Good for heavier stuff. Super thick and feels good in my hand. Pain in the ass to find if you drop it on the ground though depending on what the floor looks like
>0.46mm
wew
My boys
Every other pick sucks now.
Found it on the ground and been using it ever since
Duralin
da blue dunlop
also use the 2.0 for bass
fuck any caveman rock pick past .70
Dunlop Gator 1.5mm, my guitar teacher was a metalhead who put me onto them, after that anything else feels like paper
I like em filmsy
these are the only ones I own because I'm fucking basic
My friend loves the jazz iii and I just dont get it. It feels odd how thick/hard it is for being so small (probably could have phrased that better) I usually like having light/medium/heavy of the same set. That basic fender one and the COOL ones with the sandpaper grips are both pretty good sets.
I think you're wasting your money user
those things will brake with a gust of wind
Came here to post this. The Ultex Jazz III is so much better. The red one makes an annoying thwap sound for every note. Awful for jazz, despite the name.
yeah but they're cheap and I'm broke
picks are like 5 bucks for a 12 pack, and each pick can last you months you have no excuse
Love these for jazz
baste
Tortex blue of course
yellow tortex
these. they feel great but they almost make everything sound too dark so i'm still looking. blue tortex is also good
as thin as possible
>tfw bought new picks
>Thought they were .80 mm
>Start using them
>Feels flimsy
>They're actually .60
Fuck this
just the right thickness. Won't bend but doesn't feel like I'm playing with a stone tablet. The grip is really nice too.
This is best pick ever made
I dont even like dream theater, but the John Petrucci Jazz III is the perfect pick. I could probably substitute a different model if need be, but within a week of using these, I knew they were my all time favorite.
WHAT PICK FOR BASED GUITAR
does your music shop not have a case full of different picks that you can try out? you can even be devilish and pocket the one you like >;)
Is there much difference between a 1mm and .7mm pick sound wise?
Based
step aside, zoomers
I've been using the same pick for like 5 years now
I got it from my friend and I'm pretty sure it came in one of those guitar pick matchbooks
Brian May? is that you?
didn't do it as good as paul reynolds
Broke nigga repellent
This, but in a non faggy colour
None, because the piano/keyboard is the superior instrument.
>chuckles in bending
>there are people in this thread that actually buy picks
order some of these i promise they are the best
>Dude where'd my pick go? I just set it here.
Based
flimsy niggas we fucking out here uh uh icky wit the blicky uh
