we have this weird relationship with the dingy client where we are happy to do all their work but they are very inconsistent with scheduling. they are very bad at project management and they will say that they need the product by such and such day and then two days before the deadline they say they need it the next day which then means I lose a day. and they are doing it consistently. not not consistent enough to rely on it.
then they have two different people conflicting with each other as to what time they need it. a couple weeks ago they pulled it in a day and said by noon (I guess that is more like pulled it in a day and a half because usually it is end of day) but then there is another email from someone else saying by 2pm.
and there is nothing that the higher ups will do to reign them in because we are getting more work from them and they are even firing their other engineers to give more work to us because we will actually jump through those crazy hoops to work with them.
and I was thinking if I did leave I wouldnt want to be in the same position and I would want to do something else but in my feild. but I don't know what
in this particular instance I can get the work done a day early but it is mostly the principle. it just happens too much and we are training them that they can do this indefinately.

I have not talked the the Tx guy lately. I don't know how he is doing. I am worried he is doing the same type of work as I am and that is what I am trying to avoid.
Now that I think about it I wonder if there was a way I can get in to more of a facilities role. I could ask a couple guys I know.

Well, regardless, I'd say it's worth a shot at this point to detonate a nuke or two on each planet (besides Earth of course!) just to see what happens so maybe "life will find a way" there or something!
