You're my biggest fan

very weird atmosphere. kind of reminds me of the feeling you get when you're way too drunk and trying not to puke, there's music on, and someone is trying to hold a conversation with you. i like the lyrics, they make the song seem a lot more like someone on the verge of snapping into some psychotic episode.
this is pretty sweet. very horrific sound. the upbeat beat in the foreground, while the scary screams and growls are going in the background, make me feel like there's some gnarly shit going down, and i'm on the side of the great demon or whatever. like i'm observing the atrocities and having a good time. the occasional moments where the beat is lost and goes into chaos are nice, helps to break up the monotony. also it's always fun to see how a song will sound when you crank up the effects and let it all melt into a sludge at the end. nice way to wrap it up.
whatever you did to make those vocals is really cool. reminds me of the emotionally-dead voice samples on the "animals and sound effects" settings of cheap keyboards. definitely an interesting sound all around, i think it could work well as a puzzle piece to an enigmatic album.

Great shit. I wish the Vox were like 10% more wet and further in front of the mix. I've gone through a few of the songs and wanted to ask, do you guys purposefully avoid harmonies? just sounds like it would really bring your already good stuff to the next level if you use them sparingly....I haven't listened to every song all the way through though so maybe they are lurking in there somewhere.

so nice to hear someone singing here and fucking going for it. Besides rushing the guitar's main riff on the first song i don't really hear anything I'd critique as far as performance. obviously the drums are placeholders but the vox are something people will be drawn to in any package you put it in and don't let anyone ever tell you differently. I can only offer production advice to improve this (add bass to the demos?) and that's probably a moot point since you're probably just using these as a starting point to form the band right? Keep doing your shit, man. We need more people to sing razors.

I've always wanted to ask someone who makes harsh noise cause i know fuck all about the genre...when you have a heavy, dense part like at 1:12, is there a reason you don't drop dynamic periodically to maintain effect? I always wondered what a part like that would sound like if you added breaks in the wall with something playing really really quietly in the background. the listeners ears would try to make it out by sheer human instinct and when it kicks back in again the heaviness and density would hit with impact every time.

like i said i know jack about the genre but id be happy to hear what your thoughts were on that.

I actually like the grandiose character of the intro. don't think you reached to far i mean there's a billion people doing this why not do something to stand out.

When the first verse kicks in at :32 I wish there was an even stronger EQ shift in the backing track to make just a little more room for the vox and commit harder to the theatrical vibe you're putting out (at least for the first part of the track). I like the dynamic of dropping the background to near 0 to accent lines here and there. I want to hear a hook/refrain/chorus whatever but I'm a big bitch for pop music I guess. you ever write anything in a pop format? just curious

Yeah that's in the direction I was thinking about. You might want to look into playing around with the stereo imaging on that backing track as well, but that's to personal taste.

Love the instrumentation on this one. Extremely groovy. If I could criticize anything it would be the vocals, though I understand if you're not exactly the greatest singer. Focus on your intonation and vibratio, all that stuff. Also some of the guitars and synths feel out of time. The tempo needs some work, otherwise the composition is really funky. Love it.

Right off the bat I could tell this was really serene. The reverse snare and synths are a nice touch. Sounds very ethereal. Chill beat, not too upfront. The instruments sound very real, too. Especially the pizzicato. Great track.

Holy shit. These are some heavy beats. Though maybe I would have used the industrial samples a little more sparingly since they can get repetitive over time, I otherwise love the groove. The synths are also great and fit well into the rest of the theme. Also a big fan of bitcrushed 808s. Solid tune.

not a style I'm crazy about, but you do a great job of keeping things interesting, between the sound choices, effects, and transitions

the way the drums are processed in stabbed in my dream makes it sound almost like it's live from your bedroom or something, it's an interesting, organic feeling

it's all a little TOO washed out, but the delayed guitar sounds really nice on were those the days, also your tunes are generally pretty sweet

as someone who also started out without a (functional) computer, I resonate with your struggle, and honestly what you do with what you have is gorgeous, and generally impressive
