How do you leave the house? My parents are saying I need to move out. I'm 20 and never moved out for college because I'm stupid. How do I move out of town?

find yourself a nice brian laundry and embrace the van life

LMAO good luck in this market. Getting a place to rent is impossible and mortgage rates haven't been this bad in about a decade or so.

Leaving town sounds like a bad idea, do you have a job and country?

My dad and his friends give me shit about needing to move out and grow up. I cant stay anymore even if it is like you say. Maybe the van idea would work

My man, my brother is 33 and still lives with my parents. You got plenty of time.

Do you work? what do you do in your free time?

Theres no time for any of this. I need out. Maybe il join the peace corps or something

You from the US?

Just get used to it.
You'll have all these expectations placed on you that, honestly, don't sound too complicated.
But then you go do it and you realize it's akin to shitting out broken glass.
>Want to rent? You need credit.
>Want this entry job? You need experience.
>Need savings? We'll charge you a service fee because you don't make enough.
>Health insurance? Get ut theough your non-existent employer.
>It's the law to have car insurance. But we'll charge you more since you're young.
>School? You'll need a cosigner for these loans.
And on, and on, and on, and on it goes.
Just ignore the adults who tell you to do "X". They're just flexing their power over you. It's all rigged.

It's so fucked up how accurate all of this is.

Yea I'm from arizona
I need to get out and away from them. They make me feel so bad about myself, like I'm worthy to exist, like I'm fucking useless. All they do is talk about how much money they make and how smart they are. They come over, get drunk, and shit all over everyone. I need to get out and start my life but where do I begin.

you need money first.
get a job. go apply to become trucker

Doesn't arizona have mines? If so you would be able to get more than likely some sort of FIFO job. You'll be able to make decent money and won't have to worry about food while there. Of course you would need a place upon return but just a suggestion.

go to college if you don like it, then you must work in any, save money and get out from you house
or you can join army
you have three elections

That's like 50% of most parents now days.
So, you aren't alone.
Oh yeah, there's also a narcissism epidemic going on right now. So you should get used to self-absorbed losers putting you down to feel superior by comparison.
But there is good news however. Time does fix this problem. Their power will wane over you. Because odds are they're idiots, and you'll get older and more independent.
Just automatically by the virtue of maturing. So don't sweat it too much. Just try to get out of the house if you can. Maybe meet other people? Assuming they won't freak out and try to control where you've been.
>T. survived baby boomer parents.

If looking for a job maybe a train conductor as well? I'm pretty sure you could make good money if you stick around for a bit, of course a training period exist where you won't be paid a ton. This job you'll be on the road so you'll mostly be living in motels but I'm really confident you don't pay and are given an allowance for food when on the road.

I could look around for mines
I'm not a college person I'm a small brain. I better start saving then. I have 1100 in savings right now

you're a loser and you'll never do anything. kill yourself

this guys the loser

Screw you dick. I'm done with other people making me feel ashamed for my existence. I'm moving out and then I'm not living with anyone that I'm not actively having sex with. Believe it.

>How do I move out of town?
why do you have to go to a different town, just find some nearby apartments or something

Any kind of plan you're cooking up or looking for more ideas?

If your that young and you truly have no clue what to do or no way of someone helping you out, then your best bet is the military or navy.

It will give you a decent buffer of time to help you figure out what you actually want to do in life (pick something practical) and depending on how long you stay will give you grants to pay for your college when you get out.

Nearby apartments start at 1700

I've got no idea what I'm doing
I'm beginning to think you're right

Not to be an asshole but he says he's not the brightest. I wouldn't want this guy serving unless he was able to get into the air force or cost guard. Those two divisions he'll be the safest and still be able to enjoy civilian life.

looks like you'll be moving somewhere less nearby, then

Its prob the best place to go if your not the brightest imo, the training they put you through will drill discipline and a form of common sense into you.

I just don't want this kid's life potentially ruined because his parents kicked him out. It's definitely personal for me because my dad was in the marines when he was younger and came back a mess.

>How do I move out of town?
Tell your parents to stop being dumb shits.
They are the ones who ruined the world. You can't afford to leave. Rent is a scam and your never afford a mortgage

>They are the ones who ruined the world
Could I get a run down on this?

Baby Boomers?

Like worst time in the last 100 years to move out. People with minimum wage jobs who are still surviving likely already have a place so the rent hasn't gone up.
For reference I rented a house for 1200 a month where I'm at in 2016, they sold the house in 2020 effectively giving me the boot, and now I have the exact same sized house In the same neighborhood shittier yard for 2300.

I am 34. I would advice you stay with your parents as long as yo6 possibly can, get a Job a save like a mother Fucker. You cannot at current minimum wage entry level job survive in most places.
It's all gonna crash Any year now, but you need to stay put.
Don't go moving out cause dad hurt your fee fees.

>your parents ruined the world
Millenniala are the ones with coming of age children now. Boomers are retired.
I know we've been saying "our parents ruined the world" for like 30 years now, but, it's not the new adult generations parents, its their grandparents.

Kids having kids at 15 then having more kids at 15

1964 is the cut off age for baby boomers.
The youngest of the boomers are 59 now. The oldest are 77.
My mom and dad are baby boomers. They had me in their 30s. I'm 35. My sister is 40.

I've got no idea what's fucking going on. I'm at my wits end here. I need a life coach or something, a mentor. Like a sensei.

Can we keep the thread on topic guys? This dude needs our help

Your parents are just dumb and think you have the same experience they had at that age.
It's almost like the world is ever changing

Start with renting a room in an already functioning house and obviously geta job. Then look at saving and renting your own.

Dude, it sucks. I'm sorry about your parents. Thats all i can give you. Try to stay home.
The fastest way to higher pay with no education is skill trade.

>Can we keep the thread on topic guys? This dude needs our help
oh soyboibetacuck

Only a fucking complete moron would tell a random person who needs to move out to go to college. What a waste of money he doesn't have.

Get job, save money, move out. You'll need 3-5k. First, last, and security is standard for rent. And you'll need some furnishings, TV or computer. If buying 10k down with some first time buyers assistance should get you started.

I'm at my wits end with wagecucking. I used to be a neet for about 7 years but I've been working full time for the first time in my life for about 10 months and I felt like I was going to die from exhaustion. I had to take a month off of work to go to the doctor and see if I'm fine (they said anxiety and stress). How the fuck do people live like this?

I dont know what's wrong with me and why I turned out so different. At my age they both were at university, working part time, and involved in sports. Why did I never sprout? It's no wonder they give me all this shit, but I cant take it anymore. I dont want to get into ranting

How the fuck you get a month off from your first job?

I've wagecucked for a year and I have just shy of 10k (mom lets me keep most of it).
Should I move out or just keep saving up since she's letting me have a pretty sweet deal.
Also what can one do with 10k? I know it's nothing but it's the most I've ever had in my life.

Doctors note, they can't say no or fire you.

It's not that hard people do way more shitty jobs for way less pay than the job that is probably causing you "stress" Grow up.

Doctor's note saying I need to go get some tests done. What the doctor really said was she could give me a month to find a new job.

I don't know. My uncle drives 2 hours to work and 2 hours back, works for 8, sometimes more, in an intense medical positions and has been doing it for almost 30 years. I'd say they're just built different and we're raised soft off the fruits of their success but at this point theres people my age going down the same path and doing the same thing so I dont know anymore.

>How the fuck do people live like this?
You just deal with it bro. It’s torture but you have no choice. Maybe go into a blue collar job or something. Still shit pay for the first few years (unless you do something like trucking) but at least you be able to move into a more expensive 1 bedroom apartment thats still full of niggers instead of a cheaper apartment thats full of niggers.

Fuck this country

>How the fuck do people live like this?
They die young and stressed and do alot of drugs.

>muh niggers
fuck off and die you racist piece of shit

Stress to me is owning my own business, I'd actually have to care. I have no worries, make decent pay and go the fuck home to do the things I like to do. Trade in your hours for a hand full of dimes.-The Doors Just the way it is only way to beat it is to have been born into money. Very few are truly self made.

I always thought I was just a lazy pussy but I physically cannot handle that kind of work stress. It's impossible for me to sleep because I'm dreading going back to work so much and by the end of the week I feel ill from lack of sleep. No wonder people drink themselves to sleep to cope with work.

I didn't realize just how stressful it is until I stopped doing drugs and drinking completely. Passing out drunk is seriously the only way you can cope because if you're still conscious you just lie awake all night thinking about how miserable you are.

ywnbaw

I take drugs at work. It helps numb the suffering

You guys are pussies. I'm leaving, have a good night.

That's the common denominator I've noticed with all my coworkers. Everyone has at least some sort of drug problem. The only ones who don't are the older folks who quit. I'm the only person below 50 that doesn't do anything.
