my dad kept honeybees when i was growing up, he had trouble keeping the hives in sunny enough places to keep them warm and mold free, and the bear kept eating the hives so he quit.

So I used to go out many nights in a week. But, I became a father 3 years ago, so had to reign that in. So, given that I'm a money whore, I thought I'd use my skills to grift money. Thus far, I've created a freight / transport planning system, ripping off various maps APIs, I've nearly finished creating a document template printing app, for lucre and possibly more going forward. I'm in the middle of creating a cryptobot based on my own interpretation of mathematical formulae to predict the feasibility of currencies being worth buying or selling. I've not enjoyed one minute of any of this, no satisfaction. But I'm a money whore. I suppose my hobby is being a money whore

It's boring but I've been into videos games practically my whole life. My dad showed me how to play command and conquer and my 4 older brothers played video games all around me our whole lives. I have an apochromatic microscope with 4 objectives. It's trinocular, so i can look through the eyepieces, but there is a third tube with a half reflective mirror. So half the light goes to the eyepieces, the other half goes up the tube to the camera, which is just a 100$ small CCD sensor.

Sterilising stuff is actually quite easy, and so is growing small populations in sterile conditions. All you need is an autoclave or a preassure cooker. and a DIY incubator made out of a small cooler box and a reptile heat pad with a theromstat. I can link you a youtube tutorial if you like. Then you can buy glass petri dishes online, and agar from any food store. Add sugar and some soup stock, and you have perfect media to grow your shit in under sterile conditions.
