We do not get to pick and choose which speech is acceptable, for if we do, there is no longer a right, just a privelige granted to chosen individuals. The problem there is that once the precedent is set, we open ourselves to a situation where those in charge of deciding what is acceptable speech could decide that the truth is unacceptable, and lies are acceptable, effectively eliminating all truth. The amount of misinformation and disinformation is appalling, but if we don't acknowledge that silencing any speech that isn't in violation of the law is a dangerous choice, we could end up with an administration that has been granted the power to legally silence those who speak the truth.

tldr: rights are only rights if they are universally applied, and giving a government organization the power to restrict speech is a fundamentally terrible idea.
