And since the extremist pigs kept bombing it, it is a declaration of war towards these states. States which are inhabited by a Russian-speaking community Russia doesn't want to abandon to itself (because they are not Western hypocrites).

Putin wants control over Ukraine and it's resources, and he fears that if Ukraine joins NATO and the EU he will lose that power and wealth.
