it depends how emo and lame they are. I'm a fan of more high energy stuff so as long as the songs don't sound pathetic and sad, they're decent. I usually like pop punk and there's some overlap between emo and pop punk that means I like it

No but we like MCR since they were the only good 2000s emo band. Everything else was generic pop punk shit. Even MCR said they hated the word emo since it was mostly used negatively, and they didn't want to be asociated with it. Classic emo like Cap'n Jazz is pretty good though.
