when did you realize INVINCIBLE is better than anything on 10,000 Days?

Nah
If the crowd shut up I’d let you know
the crowd is worse on Descending, Invincible is perfectly enjoyable in its current live state
This
jambi and vicarious are great songs so i'm not sure i'm going to ever realize that
Why are people so picky with 10k Days? It's biggest crime is just wasting too much time on pointless interludes.
lateralus is so strong in its themes and sound
10,000 Days is a lot of pushing the boat out in different directions and not a whole lot of the lyrics tie them all together
just make the entire album about losing your mother, vicariously doesn't seem to fit as the opening at all
Lol
soft
rock
drone
fest
t. you kids
Undertow > 10,000 Days
Is not as good as Aenima and Lateralus, but it's still damn good. The only song that I don't quite enjoy is Right in Two.
>better
>maynard only has 2 octave range for entire song
Descending is better than Invincible and already a top 10 tool song.
Intension for me
I'll *sip* to that
Listen to birmingham recording on Jewtube, no talking and it sounds better
Right in Two is one of my favourite songs from tool altogether, so I should probably just kill myself, though I do wish to know why so many people dislike it. Despite my love for RiT, I like Aenima and Lateralus more than 10K...
>gay ass lyrics backed by a terrible vocal performance
>first half sounds like mediocre alt metal
>second half devolves into boring prog wankery
>just a weak ballad overall
What if the new Tool album comes out after 13 years and is complete garbage?
What an appropriate title
New album >implying is going to be so bad. Plebs in their JNCO jeans will still praise it regardless of literally anything.
Hardly. The two new songs that they played are great. They are pretty good musicians and perfectionists.
well so far it sounds promising
impossible in any multiverse
There are multiple vids online from the birmingham concert they did on the 7th of may with almost zero crowd noise.
>They are pretty good musicians
Lol no. Just Danny
if not for the terrible 2-part "title track" 10k days would be their best album
the pointless interludes are way less offensive than on aenima
seriously, the interludes on aenima are fucking atrocious and add nothing to the album whatsoever, at least lipan conjuring is a bit interesting
justin's pretty good m8
UNDERTOW > 10,000 DAYS > LATERALUS > AENIMA >>>>> OPIATE
I'm going through a hard time right now, and I really need Maynard to lift me out and help me face my true shadow. This album will be the rains of the spirit finally quenching the the soils of the soul, after a long long drought.
Tool is proof that God loves us.
Danny is surely the most technical. But that alone doesn’t make you a good musician. Adam may seems limited, but he wrote tons of memorable riffs. And Justin’s tone is simply gorgeous.
Justin's tone is like James Earl Jones possessed the bass guitar and then initiated an obscene psychic phone call directly to my heart.
I didn't like INVINCIBLE at first but now it's my fav. The New Album gonna be Sick!
I'm calling a 3.39 on RYM.
I was ready to be disinterested at the very least, even after hearing Descending
but then I got 3 minutes into Invincible and suddenly all this hype emerged in me from nowhere
that song is Lateralus-tier, and I'm listening to a fucking live recording of it at least once a day now
I'm so ready for this, they've still got the chops to pull off a big one
best song coming thru

I'm going to spam this. Nice. Thank you.
