Thanks for the effort, OP.
I've been listening to Velour 100.

What do you guys think of all natural lemon and lime flavors? I think turning into small is really good, but I don't really have a lot of shoegaze experience.

Haven't heard them yet. Will check out Turning into Small, though.

thanks man, Velour 100 is one of my new favorites as well. Funny thing is, is that it was originally a Christian band from a Christian music label, but they toned it down after a while. Most of the lyrics are pretty religious if you listen

Highly recommend that band. The self titled and Turning into Small are both pretty great. youtube.com/watch?v=yG4u0LR8nzo&t=2000s
Emergency Turn Off is one of my favorites by them

Know any other good female-fronted Christian shoegaze and/or Dream Pop?

Morella's Forest I think is technically a Christian band, but it's good female poppy shoegaze regardless. It's from the same label as Velour 100, Tooth and Nail Records, so I'd look around there, Starflyer 69 is a more well knwon shoegaze influencing band and is Christian as well. I still think Velour 100 is the most upfront about it lyrically though

some underrated Sweet Trip tracks

can anyone rec me some spacey sounding shoegaze? not looking for stuff thats nessecarially about space, but stuff that sort of sounds like Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead. And yes I have listened to Duster and Souvlaki Space Station, I want more like that.

nice to see Ovlov getting some love on Yea Forums

listen to spiritualized and the verve's early stuff if you haven't.

Flying saucer attack is very spacey

yeah Spiritualized is good. Try Bowery Electric's first two albums, Mazzy Star, Mellonta Tauta - Sun Fell, Flying Saucer Attack and Starflyer 69. All pretty spacey I'd say

Is Die Lit shoegaze?

essential trapgaze definitely
Hitting that bitch with the fire, notice me

thanks anons, i've already checked out spiritualized and flying saucer attack and wasn't a fan but i'll give them one more go.

Would you say that shoegaze generally attracts lonely people?

yeah, but it also attracts those lonely people together so that they can find each other
