HHAHAHA, SO QUIRKY AND ZANY

a lot of people think this was mea

(accidentally hit enter)
a lot of people think this was meant to be LE GOOFBALL MAC QUIRKY but i find it more fucking weird and so do most of his fans. i think hes purposely trying to lose all of his fans so he can't be popular anymore.

he's been saying he doesnt want to be in the limelight and he's depressed because of his "success"

>what the actual fuck is this
a quarter life crisis

honestly that video is alot more interestin than anything demarco himself has done

ey lois

what a cool video for such a boring ass song

wait what holy shit
there’s no way that wasn’t intentional

>hey Beavis, what's that? Gollum family on vacation?

Mac has lost his mind lmao

this does seem like he wants to troll his fans in a way, the weird video is less odd than the fact that the track is literally just repetitive strumming with "here comes the cowboy" sung over and over

>what the actual fuck is this
the complete breakdown of an artist

Primus

This is genuinely disturbing desu.

I get the vibe that this track is a meditation on how absurd and aimless life is and the video suits it very well.

It's not a track I particularly enjoy but I get it and appreciate it.

he's literally just saying "here comes the cowboy" and strumming user

Yes. Exactly. It's not very musical.

It is aimless and bland. It is emotionally vapid and shitty.

Kind of falls in line with what I'm saying.

I don't think it's a masterpiece but it certainly conveys a mood.

>can't into symbolism and repetition

takes me back to the old adult swim days

>it certainly conveys a mood
yeah, a mood of listening to an aimless, bland, shitty song
truly amazing
hmm yes he said "here comes the cowboy", these thick layers of symbollism will take some serious analysis...

it's just Mac making a shitty, meaningless song and video on purpose to troll his fans

Haven’t listened to a mac demarco album in years, because they all started sounding the same. What happened to him? What the fuck is this?

Seems like you are close minded and lack empathy.

>just watched salad days since a few years
>get nostalgia for a fucking youtube video
HEY FOGMAN, MAY I RIP A CIG?

I get the video more than the song honestly. Glamorized Golem man's eyes and expression show an extreme amount of fear/anxiety (especially when someone tries to touch his foot) however he is being forced to smile as if he's afraid of what's to come.
Even with it's clearly failing health, his fans don't seem to care about his state and in the end he's given an award, then sent out to sea where he will likely meet his eventual death.

I think the part where he's being sent to see with a microphone is Mac's way of implying that at his point of life, he doesn't know how long he wants to continue making music, but he's also unwilling to disappoint those who look up to him even though he's in a far worse state then any of his fans.

>i think hes purposely trying to lose all of his fans so he can't be popular anymore.
>he's been saying he doesnt want to be in the limelight and he's depressed because of his "success"
aww poor thing. I feel so bad for him bros. his life must be really rough.

Dis you not watch the music video? Its full of it.
