Hi all. I need the cold hard truth from some of you to how retarded is my idea or if I can actually succeed as an entrepreneur in this endeavor.
I want to build a streaming porn website. Not really uploading but embedding videos from other websites. It’ll be a niche website that caters to an specific fetish (well, like 2-3 fetishes).
Obviously the way I plan to make money is through adult ad revenue. Is it possible to make this website profitable with just ad-revenue?
I would appreciate any and all honest help before I set in this endeavor. In the meanwhile enjoy my favorite pics.
Can you cunts give the OP reasonable answers? Hate it when someone is genuinely looking for advice, and nobody gives a fuck.

sounds like a good idea only issue is how are people going to know about it if there's a million porn websites already

Thanks man, I appreciate it, I’ll keep posting pics
The getting people to click on my website is the least of my worries. I know how to market it properly I’m just wondering if adult ad revenue is actually profitable, like how many eyes do I need to see an ad to turn a profit
what niches are you thinking? also aren't the original streaming sites going to DMCA you?

>Not really uploading but embedding videos from other websites. Sounds like a good way to get sued if you try to monetize it. Not saying there aren't porn sites that do exactly what you're describing but you need to be aware that you're exposing yourself to that risk and you'll definitely want to consult a lawyer if you're really serious about going through with it.
More generally, I'd say that your chances are probably pretty low unless you can somehow negotiate a really great deal on the bandwidth you'll be eating up. I'd also suggest you do a deep dive into Mindgeek to see what a successful business looks like in this area.

If you aren't actually hosting the videos yourself, the hosting costs will be minimal. I'm not sure if other websites will like you embedding their stuff though, a proper link they probably wouldn't mind

Can they? I’m merely embedding content, not hosting it. Isn’t this a loophole to free myself and my website from being liable? How do other websites get away with this?
not sure. btw i forgot the name of it but there's a forum somewhere all for porn webmasters and they discuss a lot of this shit. i only know because I helped a porn website guy with some SEO stuff a few years ago. you should try googling for it. be careful though cause the community is kinda scammy

How do other websites get away with it though? Are they paying in order to host it on their site? Are they using loopholes to avoid being sued? How??I mean for sure they probably won’t like it, I figured embedding content was a loophole though
>How do other websites get away with it though? Are they paying in order to host it on their site? Are they using loopholes to avoid being sued? How?? In a lot of cases I suspect they're operating out of countries that don't really give a shit about copyright law. I don't operate a porn site so I can't say for sure. As I said, you really should consult with a lawyer and try to find and communicate with some other site owners as suggested. You do not want to go in blind and then get a surprise kosher assraping from Murray Shekelstein's army of litigation specialists.
I'm not but I'm going to try eventually. I know just from a general knowledge of website advertising. Different ads pay different amounts and if you can actually get people to interact with an ad, click on it or similar, you're golden
Thanks man, I only save the best of the best so I enjoy sharing if others are willing to help me out, there’s so many porn websites out there so I always thought the ad revenue was probably insane for so many to try this
