meh its not as bad as everyone says but its not a classic either. it's just an underwhelming album by a good band. shit happens. Arcade fore did way worse with everything now.

It's good. Not as playful and fun as their other albums, but very consistent and well executed

Danielle Haim songs and Sympathy aren't good. Maybe Hold You Now is passable but everything else with her is just extremely corny basic country style duets and it sounds awful in the context of a VW album

I had heard Ezra was hinting that since this is a double album he encourages people to rearrange the track listing. Almost like half is VW and the other half is solo Ezra stuff.

currently trying to rearrange a track list to my liking. i really like flower moon for an opening track to be honest...but then it feels hard to fit harmony hall in because that also feels like it needs to be at the top end of the album

It's a pleb filter, one of their best if not their best. People saying that Rostam carried the band despite Ezra despite that he will still collab with Rostam are just willfully ignorant, or looking for a vain criticism.
