Zoomer/Gen Z childhood nostalgia for the Late 00s-Early 10s has became more mainstream recently. How long till we get comebacks of Lady Gaga, Kesha, Katy Perry, Pitbull, Flo Rida, etc.?

Needs more Temple Run
Pretty soon you're gonna see kids reminiscing about "elsa gate" type shit from YT.
>first music that comes to mind is manufactured corporate pop
Now if you mean Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, St. Vincent, Yo La Tengo, we have something to discuss.
I don't think those apps were on the ipod touch
I remember all of this stuff from when I was 12-13 but I'm not really nostalgic over it. I honestly forget all about Doodle Jump, Paper Toss, and Temple Run until now but I played those all the time in middle school (plus that Call of Duty Zombies iphone game) It is pretty trippy to think that was 8-9 years ago though.
>minecraft
>old
I remember when they started shilling it on Yea Forums like it was yesterday
Why would I want to discuss manufactured corporate pop that's disguised as sincere? That's even worse than discussing regular manufactured corporate pop.
Vampire Weekend, Deerhunter, The Walkmen...
fuck
And it's another thread derailed by pretending that fake commercialized "indie" P4k bands are deep and have any actual content.
damn dude. just leave you are way too old to be here
no wonder this board sucks, everyone is way too old
Kid I have been coming here practically everyday since 2005.
YOU are the one who should leave.
one direction, avril lavinge, taio cruz, kelly clarkson, pink, carly rae jepsen, rihanna, jennifer lopez, david guetta, jessie j, ellie goulding, miley cyrus, selena gomez, bruno mars,...
Not at all fond of any of this, I do like mid 2000s southern hip hop
The real avril had been replaced by a clone during that era
>zoomer’s pic is Wakko
what?
me neither. but apperently that's the shit zoomers listened to according to the playlists i made when i was 10
bump
Wow, man. People get old. Crazy right. God I gotta have a kid in the next 5 years. I'm getting too bored.
>12 yo with an ipod touch
i hate being poor so goddamn much
I'm nearly 30 and I miss the early 10's desu
>I miss the early 10's
2010-2013 were great it all went to shit after that
Pro tip to anyone trying to force 2010s nostalgia right when the fucking decade is ending. Nostalgia works in 20 year cycles not 10. 2010s nostalgia wont be a thing till 2030.
I remember when everyone used to say the same about 2000-2003 being the last good time and it being shit after that
in middle school i tried picking up girls by telling them i got 200 on paper toss, which meant i was good at fingering
Also the late 2000s to me is animal collective, deerhunter, arcade fire, MGMT, ariel pink, neon indian, etc, etc
Holy shit my man are you like the biggest fucking plebe on the planet, an idiot at that too
Early years of the decade are always the best. It's why I want this shit decade to end already.
I nean, why do you think they got billie eyelash out hear wearing baggy pants, its the 2000s nostalgia that is coming.
see
Unless it was the 70s which had a strong pop culture all the way through.
second pro tip.
If you want to be ahead of the game, start dressing and acting like julian casablancas, NOW
You want to know what i remeber from the late 2000s? I was born in 91. I remeber it clearly. Its when indie sold out. When you started hearing all of it in car and ipod commercials. When everything was fucking quirky. It was like some government mandate that every movie be directed by wes anderson and starring michel cera.
Fuck lady googa, shock me like an electric feel
this
2000s nostalgia has already been emerging on instagram and in teen subcultures already. think baggy clothes, chicks dressing like bratz dolls, u was at the club, memes referencing 2000s cartoons everywhere, nostalgia for old internet like geocities
Most 2000s nostalgia I have is personal memories of mine rather than the HIV-tier pop culture. Why would anyone ever want to remember that Paris Hilton or Nelly were a thing?
>Late 00s-Early 10s
la beat scene, enjoyable cheesy big room prog house, post-dubstep
Foster the people and mgmt come to my mind when I think of this time
i feel like 2000s nostalgia is currently being focused more on internet culture and things more "shallow", like anime and clothing (but this is always a constant and kind of the base of nostalgia to a certain point), since everything seems to be more directed towards aesthetic imo
jesus, will nostalgia fagging ever stop? let's move on.
it won't stop anytime soon bc its an easy way to profit without being creative
yeah there's less of a genuine emotional connection i feel like compared to like gen x's 80s nostalgia and more superficial level a lot more aesthetically based.
you can see 2000s nostalgia in the soundcloud rap scene. xxxtentacion, billie eilish, juice wrld, bones, denzel curry, etc have elements of nu metal aesthetic
Wow, look at me. I dress like Johnny Ramone. So kewl. XD
This basically means I'll have to really get off the internet at some point if I don't want to live in a fucking time loop.
if you dont like that then you can start the chav revival and start dressing like 2000s alex turner
this is our board now gramps
i was born in 2000
if 2000s nostalgia is coming back i'm digging out some of the forgotten post punk revival bs nobody remembers
youtube.com
I actually think raps going to die soon. They got away with trying to rip off emo and grunge, but now there is a giant wall in their way with the words "thom was here" spray painted on it and they cant figure out how to make the rap radiohead because rap is too stupid
stop posting this on all the boards you stupid faggot nigger
2000 gang
LIKE A G6
Its all the aging millennial faggots who can't let go of their youth because getting topped off by their manic pixie dream girl gf in the bathroom at a Surfer Blood show was the last time they were authentically happy.
Trap music was the 00s revival
Do you really think you are going to stop coming here when you hit a certain age? As shitty as this place is what else are you going to do on the net
Seeing that old YouTube icon really hit me.
it defz doesnt work like that. there was 90s nostalgia since the 00s, and for the last few years ive seen a lot of 00s nostalgia, and people will get nostalgic over flannel shirts and phoenix and radio friendly indie pop in 10 years or less
2000 zoomers rise up
Is Deerhunter really pop though?
Same, I used to think it was so cool on my 3g. Weird how I've been watching YouTube longer than I haven't, and I'm not even 20 yet.
