It's important given this thread is about X's death.
X was facing 70+ years in prison at the time of his murder, and was almost guaranteed to be convicted since new witnesses were coming forward. In prison he'd not only be prevented from making new music but also sitting on top of millions in untouched royalties for decades. Cleo knew her son was worth more dead than alive so she most likely hired hitmen (or got her drug-dealing boyfriend to hire them) to take him out. Jenesis (baby mama) knew the killers and was probably aware that the murder was going to happen, hence why the gunman who shot X petitioned for statements to see if she snitched on him. It's also why Jenesis AND Cleo are being called to testify in the case on the side of the prosecution (this was reported back in December when Cleo first revealed Jenesis as X's baby mama, she HAD to reveal her in order to not look suspicious).
Also, Gekyume isn't X's kid. Cleo is all about money and clout so she lied about X expecting a child when he died so she could gain more of both. This is why she's blocking Jenesis from taking a paternity test. There's even rumors Gekyume is the child of Kid Trunks since apparently Jenesis was banging all the Members.
Also, X never left a will (which 20-year old does?). Cleo forged a will leaving everything to her.

Jen was named as a witness for the prosecution in X's murder months ago when Cleo first revealed her. Cleo HAD to put her name out there because all court shit is public record in Florida (which is why the "Florida man" meme exists) and she knew it would be exposed eventually. X's killers know her and demanded statements from her to see if she snitched. How the hell is this not "evidence" for something shadier?

Boatwright got statements from Cleo, Jenesis, and the uncle who left X hanging in the car. All of them have been questioned which is why Jen and Cleo are going to testify against the suspects for the prosecution. The courts have access to X and his killers' phone records so they know whom was in contact with whom. This was a setup.
