Overall violent crime is down in spite of gun sales going up. Its clear there is no direct corelation. There IS a corelation between total gun ownership and ptevelance of gun violence itself, but thats a useless statistic. Its like saying there are more accidents where there are more cars on the road. The issue is mental health. We need to solve this. I believe we can live in a country that has both no gun violence, and a high level of gun ownership.
