mac demarco is fat and has a small penis. i know this because he has a very small penis and doesn't have a large dick. he is not attractive anyway so he gets called the fat dude. i had a friend once who has to use the bathroom with his dick in his ass. a fat guy with a huge penis is also not desirable. the only reason I would describe him as "fat" is because he has an upper body that is wider than the width of his lower body. my point is he has a large penis and his ass should be considered tall enough for its size. he could be considered fat if he was too short, but he is not taller than he should be because his penis is bigger than his ass. he may be too tall to be attractive to normal women and he may also be too fat for a decent amount of testosterone. the only way that you see what an attractive man looks like is by comparing him with a woman's body. if he isn't attractive to you
>being ageist
That's your problem, old guys are the best to talk to about music, younger people suck. Act superior to them and let that be it.
>listening to rock in 2019
imagine being this much of a virgin lmao
not even the fuckin popular bands have too many fans. you'd think you'd meet a bunch of indiefags in college but that seems not to be the case kek
hmu nigga
Indiefags in college just listen to shitty emo and pop punk now. Even the ones with better taste arent into anything thoughtful, they just like distortion and care more about cool sounds than interesting lyrics and ideas
So fucking true, it's embarrassing. But we must be the change we want to see user. Take it back!
make new rock faggot old rock died in the 00s
Rock music is still absolutely huge and will continue to be. Just look at the music that's popular:
Mainstream music played on radio - male and female popstars, odd rapper.
Popular music that's not on radio - mumble rap scene, hip hop, rock and indie bands.
Rock is just below these popstars. Bands are getting top 10 albums. Bands like Muse are selling out stadiums and there are some great indie rock bands out there like Foals and plenty of new ones if you put the rock / indie music channel on.
The reason you think is dead is because it's not as mainstream anymore because it's not pushed as much as it used to be. I was speaking to my normie cousin a few months ago and he said that he didn't even know Muse was still making music. The last time he heard them was around 2006 when they brought 'Supermassive Black Hole' out. A song that charted in the Top 40 UK charts because it was promoted more by being played on loads of radio stations. It's the same with big bands like The Killers. Normies won't have heard a Killers song in absolutely years because they're not exposed to them, which is a shame because they had some great singles off their last album, that could have easily charted if given more promotion.
Sound >>>>>> lyrics and ideas
He's saying rock is dead because he's a follower of Dave Grohl and thinks rock has to look like AC/DC or something.
I'm a metal fan and rock tourist who thought the genre died with grunge ending. Still I just discovered The Life and Times plus Failure, and while not new, both of those bands are still around today making good stuff.
OP here. No I don't faggot. I bet I listen to more obscure new rock music than you do. But even indie scenes are dying. Its an objective fact. Younger people don't like rock music as much.
you can't deny that rock has fallen off. it ruled the charts for about 20 years and then there were still popular maintain rock bands hitting the charts for the rest of the 20th century.
nowadays it seem the only decent rock albums is shit i find here.
Hey OP, you may just have to look a bit further. I've recently found several clubs that are full with 16 - 25 year olds where grunge bands and rock bands still perform. The discussions are fun too, mostly about Alice in Chains, Hendrix or The Doors.
Rock can't die, it just takes year for it to evolve. People who say it's dead have never been to any underground shows. The level of experimentation that's currently going on (in Germany at least) is insane.
Can anyone name a decent rock record that came out after 2005? I reckon not!
Grunge is garbage, we've been stuck in 90's nostalgia since 08. Experimental rock is always just wanking nonsense, with nothing musical about it. I want something with spirit and gumption, I don't care if you're sticking some stupid abrasive noise or about your highfalutin concept crap. I've seen plenty of "expierimental" rock bands in my scene and they're all talentless hacks. But I don't see how rock will ever escape from the grips of nostalgia. Whether you're a 90's fag or 60's fag, it will always be mimicking the past, so perhaps I shouldn't be so harsh
Don't worry OP, I'll help to keep the flame alive. Just wait for my demo hit the internet
Car seat headrest, White Stripes/Jack White, David Bowie, Radiohead
Love the attitude, we are brothers in arms, the revolution starts with us, the youth of America, Godspeed and keep the faith!
The first two Future of the Left albums kick plenty of ass.
Pre 2001 white stripes are great. Car seat headrest is pathetic limp wristed pop punk indie crap (repulsive), Radiohead is completely abject, the most boring soulless shit I've ever heard. Never even cared for Bowies early stuff let alone his deathbed stuff
Oops meant to respond to

LOL
this
and I'd add that old guys know that music isn't all there is to life, they have a better-balanced perspective.
generally they are more accepting of different views and tastes, too
In the USA, country music is the most popular form and it isn't even close.
Grimes has really gone downhill.

Listen to tropical fuck storm and ween
Theres tones of interesting bands everywhere. It's just that the name of the game isnt being world famous anymore- it's just being able to support yourself and do what you enjoy. It's not the old days where some jew hands you a million dollar check, now it's about royalties from streaming. Music cities like Austin and Portland are oversaturated with awesome bands and thus it makes it difficult for any of them to stand out from the pack, in less music based cities- there are good local bands but nobody goes to see them because most people there are 30 yr old boomers. Doesn't mean rock is dead just because Kurt died. The world is just changing
>Theres tones of interesting bands everywhere
No, almost everything now is generic as fuck.
/thread
The only people that say rock is dead are braindead critics who WANT it to be dead for ideological reasons so they say it is to try to get you to believe it as well and remove support from those artists basically it's gamergate for rock fans
This shit is amazing
I love transformerposting
Rock is so dead fucking BONO from U2 said it was getting too girly and dying. Fucking Bono, beautiful day in the name of love Bono.
theguardian.com
Rock hasn't been relevant in the mainstream in years. College kids listen to whatever pitchfork pushes, so of course they've become poptimists and liking beyonce "ironically".
These are all p4k buzzbands from 12 years ago

Damn dude rock is creative and thriving \,,/
this this this
the hyped rock bands today are mostly mediocre revivalists rehashing the 70s-90s
Yeah? Well, there's nothing new left to be done.
Funnily enough the only genre still doing interesting things with guitars is hardcore and some metal, two genres Yea Forums doesn't care about (and most online music community in general really.)
>being an outsider isn't rock 'n' roll
Fuckin poser
>mac demarco is fat and has a small penis
Mac DeMarco confirmed for/ourguy/
really? what are some hardcore bands doing anything new? it seems like such a stagnant genre? stabscotch?
Cringe
The next night, Demarco sent another message to DeLa in the back of his car.
"Did you like my butt tonight?" he asked, according to the indictment. "I thought you're one of the better ragers around ... I want it more."
DeLa replied: "I'll never get enough from you. That's the problem with being a guy and how you get by. You're a loser."
The complaint states that as DeLa drove off on the last tour bus, Demarco followed him on the bridge of the train to tell him, "You're a bum boy."
"No," Demarco replied. "I love you and your wife and the kids. I'm not going anywhere without you."
When she stopped DeLa, Demarco threatened her with his gun.
Mac Demarco had sex with a icky-looking 16-year-old.
But it was all consensual…
And his former girlfriend was never convicted of any sex crimes.
In fact, the judge ruled the incident was consensual and she should face no criminal consequences — after failing to convince any criminal defense lawyer to push for a trial.
Judge: "I just can't allow this person to be convicted of anything."
That's when the prosecutor in the case stepped in, got Demarco suspended for two weeks and put up a $20,000 bail.
Then, he got back in touch.
"He sent a few emails with a series of images and messages that were lewd in nature and which he sent to me," Demarco told ABC news. "Those are his thoughts and words and in essence those are his statements, I did not read them."
This is just over a year old. And while Demarco says he's had no problems with his accuser — as long he hasn't
mac demarco masturbated in front of me again, this time on my face. It was so good. His cock seemed so big and hard, so deep inside me. All I could taste was his cum."
"Why did you touch me, demarco? There were so many things going on. My breasts, my legs, and my ass were hot enough to melt your cock."
"I was about to cum then, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. You didn't even have enough momentum to push against me. I was almost out when you reached around for the belt you had left there. You pulled down my pants and tied them with a knot, and then pushed me face to face into the tub. I didn't even know you were in there. I was so fucking wet at this point."
"Was I wet? That was the whole point. You're making me do stuff, because you want to make your pornstars cum! You're playing me dirty! You could always give me a blowjob later, dem
There's loads of generic 80s and 90s revivalism at the moment but there are a few gems these days. Newer Youth Attack! stuff like Vile Gash, Cadaver Dog and City Hunter are incredibly intense takes on hardcore. Maybe not super innovative but they do it differently enough to stand out from all the d-beat and Negative Approach clones. There's a few NYC bands doing cool stuff too. Haram incorporates Middle Eastern modes and all their lyrics are in Arabic. L.O.T.I.O.N. does industrial influenced hardcore thats super abrasive. Then there's Devil Master from Pittsburgh, who are like a black/punk. They wear their Japcore influences on their sleeve but their guitar tone and atmosphere are like no other band I can think of.
bleh idk. doesnt seem that innovative. obviously there are some rock bands that do some style but have something like using Middle Eastern modes and lyrics in other languages or combining influences etc...
They don't want rock to be "dead", they want the kind of rock that Cuckgau types dislike to be dead.
Please say you are trolling.
Rock tourist here. Failure (The Heart is a Monster and In the Future Your Body Will Be The Furthest Thing From Your Mind). The Life and Times (including self-titled, Tragic Boogie Lost Bees, and No One Loves you Like I do).
Its a little more innovative than whatevers going on in indie at least.
I agree. The mainstream stuff since Obama became president is primarily dreampop bands with waifu b8 singers and nu male musicians.
All trash.
Skeptical of the faggy pale wave album cover, really skeptical, I'll give it a listen. It's prob pop punk or some post punk rehash, both rather lame.
lmao
Buttrock
>there are unironic idiots who probably live in a double wide and want AC/DC, KISS, Pantera kinds of rock to come back because that's what real manly men listen to
idk there are microtonal indie bands. bands with industrial or other influences. bands who sing in other languages... etc dont see how hardcores more innovative
nah how about something that doesn't sound like a c-rate version of an older rock band, someone actually coming up with new styles instead of playing 20th century genres
Accept people still make that kind of music. There's a clone band of every old rock band these days.
Failure is 90's buttrock unfortunately. Tragic boogie isn't bad
So...what should we listen to instead? Some nu male with an acoustic guitar bawling about his girlfriend dumping him?
At least those groups actually sing about things that matter instead of being some wannabe tough guy who forces himself on women.
Basedboys always get metoo'd though
I'm just saying that Imagine Dragons doesn't get you pumped when you need to do yard work.
It means nothing when some asexual limp willed loser sings, there is no foundation of suffering, they're (indie, grunge, alt) just spoiled closeted fags. I believe James Brown when he sings about pain, when car seat headrest or the pixies do it it's just self pitying nonsense. There's not an ounce of toil in it.
James Brown grew up back when there was segregation. I've always said that's why black music became so bland after about the 70s. Once you had a generation that grew up after the civil rights movement and didn't have any real hardship, the music suffered which is why there's just 40 years of same old same old hip-hop.
Devil Master are great my dude
There's still a lot of bland shitty metalcore bands in the South and Midwest, but it's just regional and nothing like the 80s metal scene.
Well did you give it a listen?
And all rap is is trap for the last 10 years
>after 2005
That's where you're wrong, so is timeless
