If you unironically support socialist healthcare in America you should simply leave the country and move to North Korea or Russia to see what socialism really gets ya!

Tired of these socialist tards trying to make our taxes skyrocket just because they're too lazy to get a job. Fuck socialism and fuck libtards!

I'll never understand how so many people argue for paying three times as much for the same care as any civilized country.

Sure I can understand that economists are terrified because it would mean that about 10% of the GDP would disappear.

Ivan please go, not even republicans are this retarded

Because that's simply not true. Europeans and Canadians pay FAR MORE in taxes than we do in America and they receive WORSE treatment. Hence why so many of them flock to the USA every year just for medical care at our world class hospitals with our world class doctors

Hah, good one

but the libraries user

Please be Russian shill bot, no one can be this retarded.

The OPs are paid, the degens in the threads are the retards

>unironically

Canadians regularly cross the border and pay cash for healthcare in the US. Thats all you need to know about socialized medicine.

Youre the retard if you believe the pedocrats cost estimates for anything.

You obviously can be, retard.

Shut up, kike

If the US spent it's money wisely instead of like a nigger buying rims on payday we could afford socialized medicine without an extra nickel of taxes

You didn't even read it lol.
Take your time, sound the words out if you need to

Numerical data & citation needed.

Lol that's not what oligarchs want to spend money on though

Keep drinking that koolaid kid. Sure we sometimes have to wait and yes rich people go and pay whatever. There are also plenty of examples of Americans coming here for meds and paying less at our private hospitals.

If you calculate total expenditures for health care per capita the US is only paying twice as much but that cannot calculate the EXTREMELY frequent occurrence of people neglecting care due to deductibles and random bullshit fees.

No socialized medicine. I aint paying for that shit. Not gonna happen.

They don't even have to go that far just tell them to go to Canada. They have the universal Healthcare but you have to basically get on a waiting list to recieve treatment.

Inshallah brother, be allah with you

More like:
those that CAN afford Healthcare, are paying double

Or look at the dogshit quality of the VA, the American approximation to socialized healthcare.

A constant moneypit with god awful administration (supposedly the strength of a socialized system, reducing the current 25% of healthcare expenditures on administration).

More often than not, VAs are de facto training hospitals overwhelmingly staffed by rotating medical residents.

>be righties
>"Reeeeeee spending tax dollars on healthcare is bad!"
>also be righties
>"Spending billions of taxes to fight jew wars and give rich people tax breaks is fine"

>government sabotaging anything remotely close to socialism for the millionth time

Yes and?

You realize the democrats are the party of warhawks and corporatism, right?

Because one day, maybe, they might, become billionaires themselves.

The magnitude of this cope is mind blowing

Americucks can't explain why Cuban life expectancy just surpassed US life expectancy.

I'll wait

Attached: calm.png (160x160, 8.43K)

The magnitude of your ignorance is what's mind blowing

Access to fast food. US and UK life expectancies are both plateauing due to high rates of obesity/obesity-linked comorbidities

Personal choice

They hate capitalists.
Or is that just a meme?

teh socialism
Someone was listening to daddy's big boy radio in the car again

If you insist. Would you care to detail your experience in the field?

>pedocrats
Facebook boomers killed this board

I said righties, not republicans. Democrats aren't lefties, so clearly I didn't say anything in support of them.

>dirty commies can't greentext

Oh. You’re one of those irrelevant internet meme-politics people

>those that CAN afford Healthcare, are paying double
triple actually, the rest are dying or going bankrupt

I waant aware paying attention and having critical thinking skills qualified as field work. I gotta go update my resume

Or just suffering from preventable ailments because a handful of dudes wanted bigger yachts this year

surely there could be no correlation to the fact that access to world-class medical care is guaranteed in cuba. it's got to be all personal choice

Attached: trike brainlet.jpg (326x294, 17.92K)

Your argument is that the VA is a piss poor system because some deep state shadow lizard wants to sabotage socialism.

>critical thinking

>mfw i've been greentexting since before you were computer literate. check my dubs.

You really like paying 300% idiot tax on healthcare, huh.

So you'd rather defense contractor billionaires and politicians get all your tax money rather than it going back to you in the form of healthcare.
And you're really calling other people retarded?

I would rather wait and get professional health care than not get health coverage and die - or go to places like Yea Forums for medical advice.

While I go and read up on your argument, do me a favor and tell me if you trust the numbers out of North Korea

> some deep state shadow lizard wants to sabotage socialism

You're trying way too hard, just 'the state' will be fine. Though its less about socialism and more about not giving a shit about vets in the first place.

the VA is a piss-poor system because the mercenaries amerika throws into the war machine are useless when they come back legless and with PTSD. Unless of course they need another future mass shooter to groom into committing acts of terror that promote a greater demand for policing and surveillance.

look up "Strategy of Tension."

Not that guy but can I get the elevator pitch? Sounds neat

In the 70s and 80s, CIA and European intelligence, coordinated through a NATO operation known as "GLADIO," committed a string of terrorist attacks to promote a sense of public unsafety and fear, causing civilians to rally to the state for greater "support" in the form of policing and surveillance.

One of the most mysterious examples is that of the Brabant killers, which I encourage you to look up. Now there's a rabbithole.

Here's what's interesting: GLADIO operatives were often instructed to target centrist or right-wing political parties and presses with terrorist attacks, often leaving behind "evidence" of communist collusion, such as pamphlets or insignias. This was a way of discrediting the left in the public eye as terroristic. Of course, this was an impeccably productive strategy.

Who's to say it's not happening here?

Yeah sounds very on brand for US shenanigans

Isn't Cuba that place where people go for cheap plastic surgery?

I just want all Americans to have access to affordable healthcare. No American should fear financial ruin from going to a hospital. You shouldn't have this lingering dread of getting sick. If you're an illegal you can fuck right off though go die in a gutter.

Time ago I've heard the problem of US healthcare is the american doctors trade union, the most powerful trade union of the world.
American healthcare is about 80% public, the problem is the number of doctors is artificially kept down so that price stay high.
I don t know if that s true, i ve heard this from an italian economist living in USA.

people in this country act like its their right to get health care, nah bitch your poor and deserve nothing, you're legit worthless. Get back to work lol.

I'd believe it, though that could very well be more of a symptom of privatized Healthcare and not so much a cause thereof.

If that makes any sense (I'm very high)

So all those taxes we pay are for...?

American health care is the best in the world. People come here from all over to get treatment. It simply costs way more than it has to. My asprin was 31 USD per tablet and my insurance didn't cover it because it was an "at request treatment". They can essentially charge whatever they want because what are you going to do about it? Fun little fact though most surgeons will wave their fee if you ask.

Military, “foreign aid” packages, and welfare

Taxation is theft

Why did you choose the worst examples? Why didn't you choose one of the "every single other western first world nation" that has healthcare as an example?
Why is it $180 for a Tylenol, or Russia?
Why are rightards like this?

So why don't we instead spend it on things people actually want? Like Healthcare

What the dude meant is, i suppose, that IF there was no "corrupted" trade union, there would be MANY MORE doctors around, lowering the price.
Idk if it is true the number of doctors is artificially kept down so that the ones in charge can ask for more money, but that s what the guy said and this is why in his opinion "obamacare" wasn t really a solution to anything.

Paid actors mostly, on the internet at least.
You know what they say, if you're good at it don't do it for free, or something like that

Price transparency and a legislatively enacted & enforced ceiling on basic consumables would go a long way to alleviating healthcare spending.

But your point is valid re: waivers. Most people, understandably, don’t have a base knowledge of the healthcare system. The concept of “cost, charge, and payment” would sound like nothing of note to most people, despite its importance in health economics

That may well be true, but hospitals slapping on extra zeros on your bill for kicks is definitely happening and obviously fucked up.

Canadian here. I pay 15% on my first 40k, 20.5% on my next 40k, and 26% in my next 10k.
Yes I make 90,000, and I can assure you I am not raped by taxes. In fact I'm pretty sure we've told you this literally every time you bring it up, and you just ignore and keep saying it.

>Wait
I once cut through half my tendon j. My thumb. 4 hours later I was under the knife to reattach it, and 20 hours later I was in an occupational therapists office. I once went to er with a bulge in my side and I waited 12 hours, turned out to be nothing. See how this works? Triage.

Like a few richer Canadians do this because specialists can be a long wait sometimes.
But like any retarded shit ass education right wing American, you don't understand non sequitors and think a few cases entirely unrelated to the entire fucking point means your health care is better than everyone's.
It's pretty good if you have money. But by and large it's garbage.

Many american systems are intentionally overly complex to take advantage of people.

Except... the opposite happens FAR more often.

The only reason Canadians go to the US is in the rare case where the US happens (by sheer dumb luck) to have the only specialist in the world for some obscure condition.

how about you fuck off instead
socialized healthcare would be cheaper than what is currently offered

Mr Chan why you so mad on America?

What they need to understand is you have no right to the labor of others. That said the obvious gouging should be dealt with.

What's the point of spreading propaganda on Yea Forums of Yea Forums? Who is it trying to convince?

Or they need the surgery faster. My aunt came down to the US for hip replacement surgery because of a lifelong hip dysplasia condition. They wouldn't do it in canada because she was too young and would have required another hip replacement if they did it. So instead of waiting for another 9 years that would have been constant agony and cortisone shots she went down to the US and payed out the ass for the surgery. Anecdotal I know.

You may have unintentionally touched on one of my beliefs about the healthcare system.

When I was working on my doctorate (in public health policy & administration, for transparency’s sake), I was on a meager graduate research assistant salary, under 30k. Because of this shit wage, my marketplace premium tax credit was around $5k annually, meaning any plan I chose was reduced by about $400 a month.

A lot of the plans that would’ve been “free” to me had absolute dogshit terms - high copays, even for annual GPS, high deductibles, copays on generics. But it was eye-catching because it was free, so I’m sure a lot of smoothbrains jumped at it and later complained. I found a BCBS plan that cost me $70 a month, no copays, free generics, annual deductible of just $1k, but I had to dig and dig and dig.

Point is, most people probably have no idea how to select a plan and end up fucking themselves.
