Death Grips are the musical offspring of former British rock band The Black Angels. Led by frontman Damon Albarn & drummer Brian Eno, the band was founded by Albarn's brother Matt on 2005 in the aftermath of the band's split from Nine Inch Nails (who played only one gig in 2007 without Albarn on a backing band). Following the release of 2010's NIN album and a follow-up LP, 2011's The Black Angels Part II, Albarn signed on with Nine Inch Nails. When Nine Inch Nails' Steve Albini left the band for the band members of Nine Inch Nails and Fugazi, Albarn left as well, eventually releasing his own debut solo album, All Alone. As with NIN and Fugazi, Albarn went completely solo for 2013's The Black Angels Part III, but that album was an EP.

Weezer have announced a soundtrack album for the hit anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Frontman Rivers Cuomo has been quoted as saying "Rei is best girl" and "she makes the guys feel hot."

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, with all its gags, mawkish banter and tongue-in-cheek attitude, really does get to the heart of what we're talking about. The sound is almost entirely made up of vocalized riffs. And the vibe of the sound is totally different from anything I had ever experienced before. In fact, the only previous example of this type of sound that seemed to work was The Black Keys album, "The Night We All Lost One by One." The whole point? It was all a dream, with everything I couldn't understand and nothing I could understand. And yet, every time that I tried to understand, I discovered something new. It wasn't like we were stuck in some lab somewhere creating some new device. We were learning from one of the most unique sounds that my generation has ever heard.

I think Piero Scaruffi is the right name! The guy is fantastic! His first season of being in charge of The Big Bang Theory was the most exciting I've yet read. I've found Scaruffi's writing style to be very insightful. This episode is definitely worthy of your time.
It begins for me with the introduction of this episode in which the Doctor explains how he ended up as an orphan so long ago. While still in a period of depression, he goes to a doctor that helps him. He is shocked at meeting Doctor Who! Why it's hard to relate to this character is beyond me. This show is so good at bringing a story of conflict between men and women together. My point being, let's give what we have right now to something to connect all of us with. The idea that Doctor Who gives women equal attention, dignity and respect while there's a man controlling it is one that needs to be brought to our senses.
