ITT post albums you wish you could listen to for the first time again
I never appreciated my favorite albums on first listen. I need not return to naive ignorance.
I didn't like this one on my first listen but I get where you're coming from
Yeezus

better than quebec.
International makes me cry.
Pretty much the whole Beatles discography (except maybe the second side of Yellow Submarine)
It brought out the same feeling that I got back when I first listened to the album that kickstarted my interest in music discovery in the first place. It re-ignited a sense of purpose and a reason to keep going with my passion that I was beginning to lose around that time.
I can't really think of an album that I had an ethereal experience listening to for the first time only. The only one I can think of is Hi, How Are You? which is not an album I wish to listen to again for the first time.
am i the only one that 95 percent of the time thinks albums sound better on their 4th or 5th listen then their first?
I agree, I can usually only appreciate/enjoy albums after multiple listens.
Still slaps but feels normalized from when I first heard it
Agree for the majority of albums. Takes me a lot of listens to really appreciate the artistry. But some albums just instantly click (like v:d:c), and I wish I could experience them for the first time again.
This user sums up the feeling pretty well.
