You can change the optics out pretty easily on the A3 and M1 series, the Steiner now lives on an AR and I went back to the old 1.5x optic on my 20 inch AUG and have the 16 inch AUG set up for nods with a perst and klesh. Took awhile to find a spare old style 1.5x optic unfortunately.
