>yeezus as unironic Yea Forumscore
into the trash it goes
i would add the word bleeps over the section that isnt labeled
ive literally never heard of that jap album in mucore section
bladee eversince is kinda essential at this point
nice interesting contrarian take, you snowflake.
DSOTM shouldn't be there
It looks like someone just took the old Yea Forumscore chart and the poseur-core chart and mushed them together.
What a waste of time...
Why is the bottom of this chart always cut off?
How I'd fix it
>remove Aphex Twin, Low, Yeezus, and Wish You Were Here from the Yea Forumscore essentials (not saying they're bad albums necessarily, just not Yea Forumscore)
>add the word Bleeps over the bleeps section
>make the metal section not cut off
>order the albums in the modern/classics/jazz/bleeps/hip-hop/metal sections chronologically
The first guy to post it made it and imgur cut it off (it was too big to post it here initially, but then once on imgur it could be downloaded from there and posted here as it would be smaller), then he claims his computer crashed and he lost the original. So this is all we have
add Joy Division - Closer
the previous one is more accurate, stop posting that abomination
I think having a huge Yea Forumscore chart is a mistake, ideally it would be concise, probably a 5x5 or 6x6 unranked chart
it's really good
No one talks about half of the albums at the top. Literally no one cares about AnCo, TMR, Exmilitary, King Crimson for any other than Fripp memes, Slint and that Swans album (new Swans are discussed widely). Either MBDTF or KSG are more discussed than Yeezus. I'm not sure about Pink Floyd.
And most importantly, it's pure and absolute contrarianism not to include To Pimp a Butterfly in the top albums.
Also, there's lots of stuff in the metal chart that no one cares for, like Metallica, Megadeth and SOAD.
Add Ultraviolence or Born To die.
I think to do mucore correctly, what should be done is someone catalogs a large random sample of each album cover posted to hear and keeps a tally of each one. Then eliminate recent albums to get rid of the recency bias and the ones with the top number of mentions is mucore.
90% of it is shit from the old chart that isnt discussed anymore
the other 10% is shitty pop that will be forgotten in a few months and literally whos
i dont know why we even have metal, those guys are basically a separate board at this point. might as well put kpop on the chart.
Feel the same about most stuff, but honestly, you gotta keep the Fantano core as long as the melon is discussed here.
But yeah, let's drop AnCo already. Half of it looks like the 2009 chart
This. Retarded chart is retarded.
memes aside this is a substantial improvement. There's some really good picks on here. The jazz section is a little basic but overall definitely gooder than before.
had some good suggestions. Maybe move Red or meddle up there to replace them?

Of course, some problems with this method are it only counts pictures of the same exact file, so people who post different pictures of the same cover aren't counted. There's also a ton of albums that are only here cause they'reshilled a lot, and aren't organically talked about on the board anywhere
>Django Reinhardt - The Classic Early Recordings in Chronological Order
My favorite Yea Forumscore.
Keep reading, there’s a lot of weird stuff in there
Hey it's my chart I don't complete it
>Dead Sara is mucore
fucking based
It's actually not that bad. But you should've taken my advice and dedicated the Modern section to albums released in 1999 or later. You could move the albums from the 90's to the classics, add another row if you have to. Also I've noticed the increase in Pink Floyd threads but I really hate having WYWH on the top list. Also, I think there's too many of the same albums from the last few lists. It's time for something new.
Other than that, there's still a ton of great shit, so it's kind of impossible to be mad looking at it. Good job
>reddit spacing
get out
>over 12 in core Yea Forumscore
>yeezus in core instead of mbdtf
>wish you were here in core
>people will argue against daughters and ksg because fantano
Dark times in zoomerland
>doesn't include any of these in the electronic section
replace niggas on the moon with tptb
remove american football with the superior
this
THIS
Pseud chart to the fucking bone. Should be /zoom/core since it's less an entry level to Yea Forums and more an entry level to music in general.
you are huge /zoom/core chart
That should mean this chart in particular. wasn't meant to be
First: It's ugly. Holy shit, look at the beautiful previous chart, what the fuck is this abomination?
Second: The albums are jumbled incoherently. What's the logical process behind deciding the album's placement? Atrocity Exhibition should be mu-core, but first in hip-hop? What? Why?
Third: I don't mind the new additions, in fact there should be more of them. Like Flower Boy is mucore. Playboi Carti/Die Lit is mucore. But why do those replace the classic? Atrocity Exhibition replacing It Takes A Nation is fucking dumb.
At least metal was updated kinda well, still Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse is missing.
Overall: 3/10 chart. We need updated mucore, but this is just not good.
How much do we actually care about Pet Sounds? Yeah, Wouldn't It Be Nice is a transcendentally beautiful song, but the rest of it is honestly meh, except maybe God Only Knows.
I made this in Paint 3D based off a topsters chart, its kind of my idea of how a Yea Forumscore chart should be ideally formatted, album picks aren't necessarily perfect just trying to get the idea across. in another thread we were talking about the idea of doing a small chart with little blurbs about the albums that we link to, so that's kind of what I based this on
based and drainpilled
Previous one is more accurate. Just replace Beck & Dean Blunt on that chart with Daughters and Fishmans live and that’s the only update you need
Yeah this is about right
MBDTF should still undoubtedly be Yea Forumscore
Nah it’s meant as recommendation chart , so the concise definitive Yea Forumscore goes up top ,while everything below you’re able to explore yourself
Take Divine Styler off, he's too good for Yea Forumscore
I thought we all agreed sunbather was meme
>album picks aren't necessarily perfect just trying to get the idea across
yeah anything on there can be changed I just wanted to know if you guys thought the idea for the format was cool
Nah I think a more expansive chart with the more concise necessities up top is more useful.
you're missing
>The Residents
>The Fall
>Gorguts
>Vektor
Replace WWYH with MBDTF
this is the exact same chart as the previous ones + like 2 albums from last year
>new
it's all the same shit as before, what's the point?
literally noone gives a fuck about wwyh here it's rymcore trash
Wrong Morbid Angel album
Wrong Death album
Wrong Bathory album
Wrong Opeth album
Wrong Slayer album
>no Long Season in the chart
Absolutely garbage chart.
>Wrong Morbid Angel album
Altars of Madness is the correct album
>Wrong Death album
Not like anyone will ever agree on this one, but I guess I'd prefer to see Symbolic there too
>Wrong Bathory album
Yep, should be s/t
>Wrong Opeth album
Correct Opeth album
>Wrong Slayer album
Arguebly correct album (I just don't like Reign in Blood)
