lol
>what is Lightning bolt's entire discography

not even their best one lol

Have you heard the first album? It is VERY different

correct, still, only one is different, the rest is rinse and repeat, i don't mind tho it's a nice ass sound

Okay in that case why is there no band like Lightning Bolt

Hella and Melt Banana occupy a similar musical niche.

>Hella sounds anything like Lightning Bolt
guess you haven't listened to much of either.

Eh, true. I've listened to LB's entire discography but I've only heard HYHI if I'm being honest.

Even hold your horse is doesn't sound much like Lightning Bolt desu

But b0ss, they are both abrasive two-piece instrumental bands with strings, drums, and crazy time signatures. I am trying not to imply they are the same, but what makes them dissimilar?

THIS ALVUM ISNT ON SPOTIFY FOR ME HELLLP

It’s also not on apple music either. It’s been that way for two months now.

something about them transferring the albums to a new label or something like that, it'll be back soon bros

it's totally on AM

Brian Chippendale announced on his Insta that LB is in the process of switching labels, so some of the music is unavailable for streaming for an unknown period of time.

Hopefully this switch in labels means that a new album is on the way!

I bought Earthly Delights on Google Play Music like, 12 hours before their albums were pulled everywhere. The morning after I bought it, a couple friends of mine who used Spotify said that all of the band's albums were suddenly not available on there anymore. I was really glad I had picked it up when I did

Sick move--wish I would have done the same for Hypermagic Mountain. Dead Cowboy is usually the song I play for people curious enough to ask what kind of music I listen to.

I'm talking about their sound. LB is fast-paced, crushing, focused on fun rather than math. Hella is super focused on the math part, much more clean, more treble-focused where LB is insane with the low-end. on top of that, Hella isn't even noise rock where LB is.

>18 posts
>not a single mention of Ruins
try Ruins op

Hmm, didn't think of it like that; I see your point. I can definitely get behind using the word fun to describe LB's sound and overall feel.

okay

Hella is really fun too, but LB is like 100% about just having fun, not about math and theory and shit.

>albums to stare at a wall to

>albums to air guitar to the point of passing out in your room too
