Bands you don't see often in Yea Forums

Post all the artists you wanna talk about but never see being discussed around here. I'll start.

Pic related, Young Fathers. Scottish art-pop, hip-hop and lofi experimental rnb. These guys are amazing. They blend African rhythms and instrumentation with post-punk aesthetics and electronics. Think Animal Collective but black and British. They've evolved their sound as they've grown and there's not a single stinker on them.

No thanks

Magazine. British Band. Johnny Marr and Jonny Greenwood have praised them as their favorites. Never seen them being discussed here.

Pile, from Boston. Indie folk and post hardcore with some noise rock as well. Consistent af. Lead singer Rick is probably one of the best singersongwriters out right now.

Not a band, but Fiona Apple probably has one of the best discographies ever, and she's never talked about here.

Never seen a Wu-Tang thread.

Didn't these guys nobodies issue a public statement denouncing orange man bad and how they don't want trump supporters at their shows?

They're pretty good, I just wish they were such cucks, they did a little art exhibition calling Scottish history and culture is racist or some shit

Dunno about that but they did release a song called The Soft Hands of Stephen Miller where they bully the shit outta his racist ass, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Pretty great track too youtu.be/tP8LysGrO1c

Yeah I mean it's not like the British Isles was partially built on slavery or anything like that amirite?

I don't see witch house a genre being posted here , its pretty rare but, that shouldn't come as a surprise

COME HERE AND DO THE RIGHT THING
GET UP AND HAVE A PARTY
GET UP

you're a faggot if you care, which you do

Only witch house I've ever dug was Machine Girl's WLFGRL but nothing beyond that. That record is fucking amazing tho

That's fine. That indeed was a very fine album.

Melt Yourself Down (especially their self-titled record), British Afro-jazz punk supergroup with members from Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear, The Heliocentrics, Sons Of Kemet, and Zun Zun Egui. Basically imagine if William Onyeabor and BBNG were fed a diet of post-punk

What are you talking about newfag? Young Fathers used to be discussed here all the time.

If you wanna discuss a band just make threads. The times when any band is discussed the most is around new release dates and as far as I know Young Fathers hasn't released in years, but they definitely are discussed here .

Been on Yea Forums for.like 5+ years and Ive never seen them mentioned once. Maybe I missed it.
