AIC without Layne = Soulless
destroyed any good will i had for them. i liked black gives way to blue, but this is trash.
It was number 1 on the Billboard 200, which is why I listened to it, but it certainly wasn't memorable in any way. eh
i think duvall's voice sounds pretty similar to layne, especially on certain songs
4/10 bordering on offensively bad. Completely and laughably awful. Absolute fucking garbage.
if its offensively bad give it a 2/10 or something
The worst album from them. Legit cancelled my preorder on it when they pre released some of the songs.
fair enough, listening to it right now and doesnt sound that amazing. i think their self titled was pretty mediocre too overall, although it had a few really amazing songs
Self titled is a little meh, but miles better than rainier. Ranier has red giant which is pretty good imo, but self titled has frogs, over now, sludge factory, shame in you, and mufuggin GOD AM. Great songs. Frogs and god am are some of my favorites
:-O. S/T is fine
>caring about post-layne AIC
why
black gives way to blue was good
love god am. also love the acoustic song surprisingly lol, even though thats not their speciality
its just musical discussion bro
>It was number 1 on the Billboard 200, which is why I listened to it
The unplugged version of frogs is absolute perfection.
Rainer fog makes the devil put dinosaurs here look like dirt
prequelle would of been my choice for rock album of the year last grammies but this was a solid 2nd. Its way better then it has any right to be. Alice in Chains should of been done long time ago but they made better reunuion albums then most of their peers.
Yeah, idk why I do it, I think it's a form of masochism because there's never anything good in there, and sometimes number 1 is a two and a half hour live Kenney Chesney album which is probably one of the worst experiences you can have with a piece of music.
Same problem that I had with their last release
It’s too sludgy and any hooks are washed away with the same vocal harmony in every song
I liked it.
I said it's bordering it bro
