Don't be. God doesn't exist.

I like to think that if there is a God, he really doesn't expect much of you. If he does then hes kind of a dick then since he's the one who dropped 8 billion of us on this rock to our own devices.

What's god gonna do? kill you?
Gotta die to even get to god.

lol get rekt.

This.

But he does

It's just a glorified Santa Claus story made up by humans. Don't give it a second thought, and be free my child.

Christ reminds you he is your brother and, like the father of a prodigal son, will welcome you in his arms. He states that the only sin he would refuse to pardon is if you refuse him.
Respect your brother Christ by living a good life. If you see someone swearing at you, don't swear back at them, etc.

He watches you fap

The game was rigged from the start. If anything, you should be angry at him—not the other way around.

Be free from these self-imposed chains, my child.

Religion is anti-human.

If people didn't keep making up gods, I wouldn't have to deny them. There's like 4000 gods people have created worldwide. I just believe is one less god than you.

Ask yourself why you think your god is the right one to believe in. If you were born in Saudi Arabia, you'd believe in Muhammad.

Admit to yourself it makes no sense, and rest easy.

i'm sure there is pills for that

He said he was afraid of Gods judgment, not that he wants to be convined athiest

Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, the Tooth fairy....all those things kids get told to believe in only to surely one day find out were lies.....sure its fun to get over on children and its easy they'll believe anything....but i'm not sure of the implications of it....for me, it made me question religion and all that.. after seeing how its possible to propagate story of blatant lies and pass it as truth but now i kinda think maybe those fairy tales are fed to us as kids just so we can become disenchanted as we get older

dont be a sucker

I used to be like this, well into my twenties. I got over it. rejected spirituality completely for awhile, that was rather empty tho, found new ways to be spiritual. settled into eclectic paganism. seek out your own truths, when you are ready.

This image makes me feel very encouraged

>settled into eclectic paganism.
Why would you settle for cringe?

Niggers tongue my anus

do you own a fedora 5 sizes smaller than your head?

santa claus, easter bunny, and tooth fairy are all real user

fairy tales originate in the true spiritual, I have personally met both santa and the tooth fairy and received blessings from them

I'm saying fear of Gods judgement is unnecessary. You can't possibly be so obtuse.

Not an anti-theist. Just wondering why you'd settle for cringe

checked

I had a dream one christmas eve when i was five or six....i dreamt of my mom and dad dressed as santa putting gifts under the tree, one of which was a train set I wanted. Christmas morning the train set I wanted was under the tree.

>God
You have to be at least 18 to post here

How old are you, user?

anti-theism is what atheists are when they're 16 so its ironic you bring up OPs age

What if you're wrong? Has it ever occurred to you your ideas might not be true ones? There's more to life than self-satisfaction and worldly content. It's better to be afraid if it makes you think about something other than yourself. Your philosophy of laziness and ignorance and cowardice won't do you (or anyone) any good.

do you even understand what you tried to say there or did you post while having a stroke

atheism is a lack of belief, anti-theism is atheism for edgy retards who think they're totally owning Christians on the internet. let it go

>"Has it ever occurred to you your ideas might not be true ones?"
>continues with promoting his mental illness
i'm sure you can figure out how to kill yourself

>implying Occam's razor doesn't work both ways
>implying morality, honour, perseverance, altruism, etc cannot exist independent of religion

not only are you pulling that out of your ass but also you're just kissing christian ass
there is no need to respect someone who is clearly retarded and delusional

>your own truths
Where is your intellectual integrity, user?
If my truths are different from your truths, which truths are really true?

both.

You're an arrogant anti-theist who thinks arguing with Christians on the internet is going to change their minds. You're so insecure and afraid to look like you're "kissing Christian ass" that you choose to be combative instead of simply allowing them to exist in their ignorance.

I am an atheist by the way, and its clear you were raped by a priest as a child Good day

That's nonsense but check them anyway

In the 21st Century? Really? It must be terrible to live in a demon-haunted darkness, mired in superstition.

Hey God answered the prayers of all the mothers of those children.

The answer was no.

LOL, you know, Pascal's Wager works for EVERY God. You could be wrong too, and the Mormons right. Then we'd both be sharing a cell in Mormon Hell.

this universe or this reality or whatever it is....it has way more than just one way of working and those ways contradict the fuck out of themselves from an immersed perspective....that's why any body ever from any take that says Love is the answer says that.....'cause ultimately thats the only thing that makes sense

God made Adam from nothing and Jesus was God so Jesus could have been made from nothing but instead chose to rape his married 13 year old mother while she slept next to her faggy husband to make himself. Based.

You're confusing Christianity with God....they're not the same.....Christianity is an interpretation of
the truth, God is the truth.....and He judges all of our faggotry, especially OP's

After a quick google I can tell you this Occam character was mistaken. In this case the simplest theory is not the best. The real explanation fits in all the necessary principles by being complex instead of easy. As for independence, none of those qualities you listed can claim the slightest bit of it. They all have been handed down over millenia, have always and will always exist, and could not possibly be anything other than Morality, Reason, >the First Platitudes, >the Moral Law, or >the Tao. If I implied it, let me now be clear. Morality, virtue, existence etc; cannot possibly exist apart from Reason.
>Religion is not what man says about God, but what God does about man.

you're conflating the argument. reason, in a classical sense, is merely correlated with societal religious fervor. It's an outmoded means of societal control, demonstrated by the richest, happiest, most developed countries of this world being majority non-religious.

good.

Made me kek.
>As Pascal states, “Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God is. Let us estimate these two chances. If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation that He is.”
britannica.com/topic/Pascals-wager

You're absolutely right if you say Love is the answer. But you're wrong if you say this universe is self-contradictory.
>Nature, though not intelligent, is intelligible.

I'm not, since God doesn't exist

yep that's why I said from our immersed perspective

Fuck your a dumb ass

>If I close my eyes he can't see me!

you were there all along user

>cringe

I'm not conflating I'm just not able to illustrate the connection. But I think it's pretty plain that up until modern times, say the past 200 years when secularism really got going, nearly every state, nation, or community believed some type of religion. And I'm no historian but the especially successful ones all had Chritianity of some form or another in common. So I'm not sure what you mean when you say reason as a form of control is correlated with religious fervor. From the Christian perspective, reason and religion are indeed correlated, meaning the growth of one results in corresponding growth of the other.

Attached: 1648660655066.png (500x500, 331.62K)

>(You)

yes, religion has existed since we had the time to stare at the stars and wonder. it's been irrelevant for hundreds of years though, as you state.

>I'm not sure what you mean when you say reason as a form of control is correlated with religious fervor

You're mashing two statements together. First one is:

>reason, in a classical sense, is merely correlated with societal religious fervor

That is to say, just because societies were religious, doesn't mean that the Enlightenment happened because of religion.

As you state, there's a correlation, especially to Christians given that the Enlightenment was predominantly European led.

Stop being a dick to everybody and you'll have less to worry about.

I meant a really direct correlation, not a merely tangential relation. Anyway I don't say religion is irrelevant today. I think it is less prominent than in the Enlightenment period, during which it was interwoven with nearly all aspects of society. Back then they really understood the connection between Reason and God, whereas today society is turned away from God.

It's a sin that nobody has checked these digits
