How do you relate an attack like this to some kind of "supremacy group"? For it to be a racial-, cultural-, or religious-based attack, it would have to happen at a place that generally has a homogeneous group, such as a synagogue. An attack on a subway is something entirely different. (Unless, of course, the guy went through the subway looking for people that met certain criteria.)
