John 8:34
>He who sins is a slave of sin
Why do you keep sinning user? Our Lord wants you to be free.
John 8:34
Matthew 6
>19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
>20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
>21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 11
>28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
>29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
>30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
We're in the end times friends. Salvation is in Christ Jesus and Him only.
Stop looking to anything besides what you can prove absolute as yourself.

I can't save my own soul.
Genesis 38
>9 But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother.
As a man raised catholic, practiced, and followed Christ many things still make little sense OP for ME anyway OP.
I grew up in the inner city (predominately latino / black neighborhood). What fails to make sense to me are those born & living in wealth are already in heaven OP. I question why I must pray daily (often times it makes me feel content on what I’m thankful for) but I feel I’ve been fooled. Those living in financial abundance are in Heaven. Living in luxury while traveling the world witnessing God’s Earth in every coast. While I’m here praying for a raise.
I believe in God, for which God is Love. I do not believe the methods in the bible that keep the begging man content with the scraps the world provides for him.

A lot of Catholic teachings are opposed to Scripture.
Jesus teaches that worldly riches mean little compared to heavenly ones, and to labor not for this life, but for the life that comes after.
Matthew 19
>23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
>24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
