I Feel Like A Clown
song about going through your life feeling like you're doing nothing but fucking up, and everything people say you shouldn't be doing. It also touches on my general anxiety disorder.
Will be here to listen to feedback, thoughts and stuff.
very calming. Nice work.
can't wait to hear the vocals. Like the track already, hopefully vocals elevate it more.

for the vocals i would really try your hardest with a velvet underground or bob dylan impression, because thats what i hear in my head. probably something about driving in nevada and dying and heroin, cool shit
yeah i would really just EQ your hi hats a tad more on this one, youve got good vocals and good mixing on everything else, just those hi hats are giving me a migraine, nice shit tho
yeah nothing much to say here, pretty solid i guess, dont really know the UK drill scene that much but it sounds cool and eq'ed correctly, keep at it :)

Molt is a hot take- Very interesting. I like how everything dynamically changes and really prefer the track after 1:24~ just a little more going on to sink my teeth into. 'Vessel' on the other hand really grabbed my attention quickly, Great vocal samples and such juicy toms. Tons of potential to keep an eye on.
'HOLY FUCK THE INSANITY' Is an amazing foray into vocal mixing and aggression while the glitchy beat does such an impressive dance underneath everything. Great uses of that faux scratch mixing a short and intense journey. I also listened to 'Muhdick' and it really shows the other side of your range of motifs. The distortion spreading from the kick to the little melody blew my mind. The laid back flows are so at odds with the white hot aggression of the track immediately before. So fresh, so good. Recommend to everyone.
Listened to 'ah' and I just love your percussion, definitely what stands out to me in your music every time. thick huge tom sounds and the massive energy of each hit gives me life. you also have those tracks like ' drip/sslomo' that have smaller unique sounds that keep me listening like it's a story. would love to know how you get some of these sounds and things. The beat on 'drip/sslomo' has those light little clicking and clunking noises that sound like maybe spoons- I just adore the unique textures. Recommend heavily.

Very chill well done, good music vocals need to be a bit louder though
This is very good, really interesting as well quite a good mix of genres
This shit is fucking insane love how you don't stick to one genre in other songs, keep it up
'Violins and Skelter' has that sleek futurism vibe going for it. Was really surprised by the drums and vocals. The intro is so 'boards of Canada' and isn't atypical of a good more unstructured ambient/industrial sound, but then this pop orchestration hits you and it's- very unexpected. The emotion in your voice is a highlight. I'm going to listen to more of your music and collect my thoughts but for now, recommend.
Gave 'flurry' and 'fumes' and listen and I think your bass lines and sweet little vocal patterns are just wonderful, Synth tones are little retro and by extension a little basic, but it maintains the lofi aesthetic. the harmonies on fumes gave me pause when the male vocalist comes in. very cool. 'Unisex' also has such a relaxed femme mac demarco vibe with less polish and more bedroom motifs. Recommend.
Not sure I understand the setting for the track. A flip means something different to me I guess. Is this a full remix? I like the buzzy bits that sound like really fast bees warping around in my headphones at top speed. I did get sick of the 'DON'T' sample but the sludgy grungy bits are for sure the highlight and are really interesting. Keeping an eye out for more.
>drums are in there
Certainly. I find your voice slightly grating in the sort of soupy flow you have going on, also intonation/diction on the sung hooks bothers me. The beat is okay, I enjoy the grungy bits but I can't hear it over your hyper reverbed/over mixed sung hooks. Grating, overall. Not my scene, cringed at the "infatuation with a voice in your head" bit.

What do you mean by that? hopefully "Complete" and not "I'm done making music". I like untitled. Restrained and sparse, I've gushed before but I'll rec again.
I enjoy your bass and when the percussion gets weird. Synth line on 'The Man Who Will Know The Lie' around 1:25~ just makes me feel so underground and earthy. I appreciate good bass playing and you're grooving behind the beat well. The string samples at the very end gave me goosebumps. Recommend!
As an anxious neet this song makes me sad lmao. Hard to rate objectively. Ever heard of 'glass beach'? similar musical styling. I like the emo vox, I think you could use just one more instrumentation in this track in the bridge parts especially. A bass player? drums + keys are a cool aesthetic but it's so sterile. Recommend regardless, and great starting place!
I like bodega Nights, It literally reminds me of going to bodegas high as fuck at night. I really like living in a big city especially at night. Sleek well mixed whispered vocals. Recommend to the thread.
'SCORPION WALNUT MONKEY WALNUT SCORPION' is a bop with those big slinky bass part sawtooth things going on. I feel like I'm in the middle of a riot and we're about to smash up the fucking town holy shit. RECOMMEND FOR AGGRESSION PURPOSES.
I think you should name your beats as though they are songs in all honesty. I cringe so bad at "____ type beat" but I get that you gotta make money out here. Your beats tend to be pretty boilerplate. I've heard the 'glock cock' sound effect and 'big bell' so many times that I just can't reply with any semblance of actual music review. You're beats are not bad at all, they are just all limited by being imitations of things I've already heard.
Twangly and fun, but doesn't really do much. I like the guitar tone~ great for a demo! full track will be cool with some dynamic changes. Not sure Twangly is a word.
The lord of the power tools, the emperor of static. Angry assimilator who is very right about their being too many threads.

Fuck off with your 2000 play lol. But in all seriousness, this is a sick remix. Great job my dude. Very abrasive and expands upon the original.
angry assimilator is now probably one of my favorite terms.

hi. i'm this guy back done with work to give feedback.
some dude reposted the demo and got me 2k plays before i even finished it lmao. but i fuck with this beat/vibe. i feel like your delivery could use some work. i was taught to preform less from your throat and more from your chest. at least that's what i was taught. otherwise, good shit. really like the writing too. dark dark dark vibes. i'm excited to see whatever else you make.
i've dabbled with video game music! was part of a video game dev club in uni and helped with a few tracks. it's a dream of mine to do a full soundtrack like JSRF or something. this is really really good. i especially like the motif you whip out around 1:59, that's really really cool. really really solid boss fight music, man. really good job man! hope you get the residency
just good as shit. heavy recc.
honestly makes me wanna actually play my guitar again for once. this is just fun imo. don't got much to say other than the mix needs work, but you mentioned it's lo-fi.

listened to 'Remember'. Solid Folk singer/songwriter stuff. Cool supporting sounds under the guitar lead that I haven't heard really anything like before. Makes for a cool ethereal sound. 'Cut' is also stained with this ghostliness that just inherently makes me emotionally. Your vocal performances have just enough gas for the rest of the piece. Great restraint. Truly like a friend sitting on my floor playing some great music. And oh gosh the horn on the track 'tracks'... haunting excellence. Ghostly recommendation for everyone.
'Witch Hunt' starts in an almost cinematic way with that low intro and the timpani roll. The lyrical flow and vocal FX are aggressive and have a lot of dynamic changes over the course of such a short track. The more yelling bits vs. the choked back gritted teeth type of flow. Really pretty cool, would love to see it fleshed out in the future. Doesn't need much~ big recccc
Today I listened to 'were gonna differ'. The intro, while a little long builds the suspense really well to the actual beat coming in. I'm a sucker for ambient crowd noise and was sort of sad that it didn't go longer or fade out, but I love ambient music and stuff I totally get why you would do that. As I've said before though, your voice sounds thick and equalized well without being compressed to hell and back. Mick Foley reference to boot, kudos. 'Against A fleet' floored me when you sang along the intro sample for a second. What a cool entrance. That would be a really great track to open a live show with, The sample plays with you off stage singing and you pop in for the flow que. Recommend no doubt.

Did some takes with the new drum mics. They didn't make my trashcans and trashcan lids kit sound any better. Shocker. Going to fiddle around some more. Might not expect new drum-track uploads this week after all. I'm very disappointed, but shouldn't be surprised. The source sound isn't good, what did I expect? (inb4 Dubbi tells me to hit a studio with a session drummer. Dubbi plz. I'm going to hit a real studio once I have somebody who's a good drummer as a band member (read: Not Me))
That said, got my reel to reel operational. Ran When I Hear My Voice through it, and pushed it up to get some saturation, and I was really liking what I was hearing. I've got to clean up the guts of the machine though, because there's some dusty sort of noise. (And I spent forever re-wrapping my tape after a user error tape explosion... That was not fun).
Anways, after that blogpost for the lads in the threads who may be interested (Thom Moot, et al), here's my soundcloud.
