Had covid, sick as fuck for 5 days. Recovered. Around all kinds of covid afterwards, positive people and exposed people. Haven't got sick again. Don't see the point of putting newish mRNA vaccine that's unproven into my body, when my body's immune system did the job just fine.

I understand why some healthy people took it at the beginning, they were lying and said the vaccine would 'prevent the spread' of covid. Well, we know now that's not the case, so why a healthy person would ever take this shot is beyond me

A few months later I get infected, and because my immune system already had practice against covid the worst I felt was a mild flu for about a day. Meanwhile I've buried more than a dozen friends and family who refused to get the vaccine... It saved my life, and I wish more people would get it.

The point of the vaccine is to reduce the harm from Covid and its variants. For many people, this presents has being symptomless or otherwise not being hit as hard.

Catching Covid without the vaccine isn't necessarily a death sentence, but the odds of dying or coming away with permanent disabilities ("Long Covid") are much greater.

Same here. Had a fever for two days. Stuffy nose for a week. That was it. No change to smell, taste, breathing, etc. Still jog and feel the same as before. Maybe it would have helped, but not having it didn't hurt.
