I've lived in Massachusetts for almost 30 years now,I've traveled across the country and can say without hesitation it absolutely sucks ass,don't move here lol.

My problem is that being from the LA area, I’m used to all the mega conveniences.
I can find literally anything from almost any country with little effort, events like concerts are regular, we get every major product in high supply so nothing is ever sold out, food choices are near endless and can be among the highest quality in the world, any recreational activity you could ever want to do is within an hour of you at most, it’s truly got it all. It literally never snows so you never have to worry about being cold.

The downsides are of course the homeless, the illegal immigration, the high cost of rent and gas, the taxes, the politics on both sides are annoying and inescapable, the traffic, and the smog.

Where can I honestly go that has everything LA has and none of the problems? I’d love to leave California but so far nothin really compares.

+1 Expensive as fuck if you are close to Boston. There are no houses under a million. This is not a comfortable place to live even when making good money.

Napa Valley California or Hawaii if you're fabulously rich. The Northwestern Midwest if you're not. Everywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line is a no-go zone, including the Southwest and Los Angeles. Don't know about San Diego, but who does?

See, it’s the large city life that I need, but no others really compare without being worse.
New York obviously has everything LA does x10, but that include all the problems x10 and has the bad weather.
Miami and Orlando have close to the same amount of stuff plus no snow, but Florida has the muggy Swamp weather, hurricanes, and regular lightning storms.

I fear there’s literally no where I can go that fits all I want and I’m forced to be stuck here in LA

Ive camped near chugach state park just outside anchorage once or maybe twice when I was younger but either way it was an enjoyable experience, be on the look out for wildlife though
