Now IQ and SAT scores are actually really only a small part of the story. We don't have a great way to measure creative/innovative thinking unfortunately. But if you look at the last 200 years, the vast majority of major innovations are from white people. Asian cultures score better on tests, and they're really good at refining an idea into the most efficient version, but they really suck at inventing full on new things.

There's enough genetic drift to create enough physical and mental differences, that its reasonable to create further sub categorization beyond species, into variants. That's the biological term for animals that can interbreed, and belong to the same species, but still show enough difference in anatomy/behaviour, that they deserve to be thought of as subtely different versions of the same species.
