Damn this is pretty heavy. I think the Spiderman stuff makes it interesting, and I actually think most samples complement the instrumentals well. Doesn't feel too nostalgic either.
Comfy as fuck. I love the piano, and the orchestra is w a r m.
The sampling here is pretty clever, I feel like the trap like percussion could have been done less banally, but it's fine. I like the kind of breakdown in the middle.

yeah this shit is fucking cool, big fan, is nostalgic without being overbearing nor needing to be there to be nostalgic, sends chills down my spine, i have no critiques because you seem to know what you're doing with warmth and so what
yeah really really good, reminds me of the good viper songs without the beat stealing and all that, i would really chase the blade runner aesthetic you got going on here, with shoegazing and the "aggressively passive" synths youve got here, really tight.

Returning feedback I'm thanks for the kind words! listened to twice, beautiful stuff, you layered your guitars very well. percussion is just right too. love the changeup in the middle of the track (: works really well to give the song a breather. really dig this 1 man.

filthyyy. love the textures you use. the baseline is pretty slick as well.the end section is done very well, perfect way to close the track out. the cover fits the song pretty well, I dig the aesthetic.

He's a huge fan of mine and always comments me. Gotta support the little guys.

I think this is a little bit ill-disciplined more than anything, you can clearly write a good riff / groove and I like the composition, it's quite daring, but the sounds were a little cheap-sounding in a bad way. There's definitely potential here if you lean more into production and perhaps try something even more out-there but with disciplined melody / riff writing. Interesting though.

This is quite cool, your flow reminds me (intentionally or otherwise) of Lonely Island. I actually really like it. The production is deceptively controlled and cool. Keep it up, maybe sprinkling in a catchy riff for plebs like me.

This really greased my wheels. Just really well performed, produced, sampled / composed. Keep it up mate.

drums need work. New mics will help but your cymbal has no sustain. I know this is harsh, but your drummer needs practice they're all over the place.

this is some marvelous static from hell. Not really sure what else i can say, but i can't imagine you want much more than that.

this is kinda fun. If i could make a suggestion, get a harmonica microphone. its a cool way to do lofi vocals. not really digging the lo fi effect on the vocals. but the rest of it is cool. the second song is cool. like the spoken stuff more on that one.

-1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st
-2nd make a kick/snare rythem
-invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help get a melody / bassline idea
-3rd get some studio time,
4th, get some experienced producers to work with you durring your session(s)
5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good.
6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.

Lies

I have no delusions on the drums. Replacing the (really shitty) crash, and probably the rest of the kit, is first on my list right now if a new mic setup doesn't work. The drummer sucks, because right now it's just me. I'm not a drummer, but I'm hacking it for demos until I get one on board for live shows and eventually real studio work. Thanks for being honest! I'll listen to your stuff later, I'm running to get limes and triple sec right now.

youtu.be/E15Dhpy1Sy8

Attached: a2853269437_10.jpg (1200x1200, 412K)

I’m very limited to getting a hold of any producers. There is a close guy in Calgary who has a studio so I’m left on my own pretty much. Is this just general advice or do you think I have potential ?

Bro it's not hard to get studio time, spend some money and get into studio space, get thrm to bring in a session drummer.

Don't drypost.

Travel to a better city bro, Calgary in Canada? Go to a major city like Toronto for a week when you get some studio time. A week in a BIG studio (don't get the lower shmucks, I'm taking a legitimate studio) should get you ready for the big leagues. Yeah you've definitely got potential bro. But level up your recordings.

That could be expensive but thanks for the advice. I live in the prairies but I’ve always wanted to see Toronto

Bro being a professional music IS expensive... What did you think? Spend $1000 for a week in the studio, I like a week per song, instead of days because I need time to work with each of my producers and musicians personally, If I have a guitarist on a song. that's 1 day just getting him to play what I'm thinking etc etc. Usually like at least a day per artist on my song. That's why I have such good quality music because I'll spend a week having at least 4 or 5 guys making my music.

That guys a faggot troll, don't listen to him man. Only hacks need to spend thousands to get a good song. You have all you need, your tracks are good for a beginner. All you need to do is make music everyday! Good luck! And don't listen to dubbi.

Glad to see yet another thread is being derailed by these people who don't actually like music.
I mean "i'm glad" SARCASTICALLY. I don't get the point of coming here and ruining these threads.
What could it possibly do to make you guys feel better about your shitty shitty lives.
And yes, it's clear that your lives are shitty, if they weren't you wouldn't do this to us here.

DJ Dubbi is an asshole. There's no other way to put it.
Every day. Every. Fucking. Day. He comes here and shits on all of our music.
We work hard on our craft and all he does is quickly throws a cheesy bass line over a beat.
Yet, he has the balls to tell US that our music isn't good. He has the guts to rate our music out of 10?
He can't even write a real song that isn't just a rip off of whatever thing is cool, and not done well either.
Don't let DJ Dubbi, or any of the trolls here get you down about your craft.
DJ fuckface Dubbi is just an autistic faggot who thinks shitting on peoples work is funny.
He's not trolling he's just retarded, I fucking hate him, every day he tell me my music is shitty.
I've spent half a decade perfecting my craft, and he thinks he can come along and just fuck my career up?
Fuck that.
Fuck him.
We are artists. He isn't.
Sorry for the rant.

exactly, dubbi is retarded and needs a team of producers to grind out the blandest edm songs ever, do not take his advice, do not listen to what dubbi says, he just wants to confuse you, don't ever stop recording in your bedroom, that's where real musicians work. Only posers like dubbi spend money to be in a "legitimate" studio. Be a real artist. Name me one true artistic musician who works in a studio.

Fuck off dubbi you're unhinged

Haha wait dubbi posts pretending to be people who hate him? This guy is weirder than I thought.

I feel like half of this thread is just dubbi talking to himself.

he's being a troll but giving advice? I know it was expensive but still honestly good advice.
