you literally can't name a better post punk album of this decade.

Institute, Molchat Doma, Uranium Club, Coneheads, Parquet Courts
Idles is nu-male core
Brutalism by the same band.
*blocks ur path*
I like Idles, but this shits all over them.
Also, Brutalism > Joy.
I'm from Bristol and run in some of the same circles as the guys from Idles.
Never have I ever met a group of guys so far up their own asses. Talbot was better when he was off his face on coke DJ'ing at Thekla, at least he had a sense of humour then (and used to play some pretty decent hip hop).
Also, the band were better when they were doing atmosphere post-punk stuff much earlier on, this kill them with kindness, pseudo-political naff punk is dead air.
Crap band...
This album is a modern Disintegration or Violator.
>this snowflakes an avalancheeee
Cringe
Plus you can, pick any of pic relateds albums
youre that fat old dude with a beard at every underground show bragging about stale music elitist bullshit that nobody born after 1994 cares about
Get that goth/darkwave shit out of here. It's not real post-punk.
sleaford mods - divide and exit
Sure, why not. I can see you've never been to Thekla on a Saturday...
What's your problem? This sounds significantly more like 80s post-punk than anything else in this thread.
we're talking about 2010s post punk you fucking dumbass
calm down me lover
I honestly thought this album was trash. The lyrics and singing are very cringy. The music itself is pretty boring and unoriginal for post-punk.
This, it has no redeeming features
People get a cathartic release when they listen to music which affirms their political sensibilities. Neofolk is objectively trash but it has an audience because of the politics of it all
because the other ones aren't
kek
They are terrible
It was released in 2017.
Literally their first album.
