In order to mix the two you'd have to either make fast trap with a metal-like drum 808 patterns, but then It'd just be metal with a drum machine. You could also slow down metal and give it a trap beat, but I don't think that'd sound very good. Or I guess you could also do the thing that nu-metal did and have the rap part of the song with a trap beat followed by the chorus of the song sounding more metal.
