bottomless pit is them taking heavy metal influences and turning it into something really catchy and, imo, a lot more accessible than most of their other stuff after a few listens
it's got some of the best mixing on all of their albums, and the production on songs like ring a bell and giving good people bad ideas is amazing. and even weird, pointless shit like 3/4 is really fun to listen to
the lyrics are still pretty dark, but it's the type of dark shit you'd hear in metal. at the same time though, if it were metal it would be good metal, not some corny shit

I disagree with it being metal and the most accessible (Exmilitary is the most accessible by far). But I agree that the songs are catchy and mixed very well. I think I would def move it to B tier for those reasons alone
