I loved it. It's frustrating, because I feel like it could genuinely be the greatest game ever made with a few easy tweaks, so it'll always feel like missed potential to me. Still, it made me feel like a kid exploring shit on my dad's completed Ocarina of Time file again, and I'll always love it for that.

It's the best 3D Zelda since Ocarina, and the only game in the franchise that feels even remotely modern. The old 3D Zelda formula was 20 years old, and had gotten more linear with each new addition. It was time for a change. I love every Zelda game, but let's be real. Every 3D game after Ocarina was a clone of Ocarina. This was new.
